    Hi all
Im Allie, 26 and have decided to make this thread my 2nd home LOL
Id love to join your 5llbs by Match 5th Challenge.
Im sitting at 5 foot 2 and 12 stone 1 at the moment and id like to get that down to about 10 stone
Thi is for health reasons which im sure once im into the swing of things on here I shall share with you but also as I want to be able to go in a shop and find clothes that really do fit me and look nice.
Im not really following any plan. Have done WW before and even a bit of SW which totally confused me so im now doing it the Allie way
Exercise is a real problem for me as I have a bad back from a failed epidural and also I work till midnight most night. The mornings I spend with my little girl whos 2 and is just the oposite to me shes tiny.
I look forward to helping you all when I can and getting to know you all through what I imagines going to be a rough journey. We really all can do it!
Now for my 1st question. i eat a loy of tinned fruit. This had 2 weights on the pack a net and drained weight. I dont drink the juice just munch the fruit. So do I eork out how many calories are in the drained weight or the net as the net includes the juice.
Lastly ok im red now I dont seem to be 'going' as often as I used to sort of every 3 days if im lucky. Is this a result of the diet and can anyone give me any tips on making myself more regular?
    Have A great Friday night

hiya allie :hello: welcome to this thread :D just a thought...make sure it is the tinned fruit in fruit juice rather than in syrup you are eating and use the calories listed for drained fruit as a guide for calories...i always drink the juice or freeze it to put over a fruit salad or if i have no frozen fruit juice i use diet cloudy lemonade to make the fruit salad :D to answer your question about "going" lol it sounds like you need more fibre in your diet to flush the poop out (am trying to answer this delicately :rotfl:) try eating museli or porridge or all bran etc for brekfast with prunes or any dried fruit and eating granary or wholemeal breads and brown rice and then you will end up with the "perfect poo" as gillian mckeith calls it :rotfl:
proper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance! :p
Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money

How long did that take you?

Watch your portion size and what you eat it can easily creep back up....

    Make sure you excercise loads......

    Drink lots of water.........

    Hi all

The 2 pound weight loss club is for people who want to set themselves interim goals rather than being demotivated by the thought of having a large amount of weight to lose. Members aim to lose 1-2lbs each week (or whatever amount suits you), and there are no consequences if this isn't achieved - I won't bash anyone over the head, but someone will give you a boot up the bum if you want one!

I keep a chart with all the members, their result and their weight loss so far, which I update and post every Wednesday evening. If you attend a slimming class, just post your weight loss on whatever day you go and I'll pick it up for the next update. If you're going it alone, set Wednesday as your regular weigh in day and post your results and I'll include them.

Click here for the current chart.

I can also include an interim target - for example, many of us are aiming to lose 5lbs by 2nd April - and show how close you are to achieving it.

No need to reveal your actual weight (unless you want to) and I don't need any evidence - there's no point in cheating, you'd only be cheating yourself!

If you want to join, you can send me an email or a PM, or just post on this thread.

    Good luck

how does everyone else cope with cooking different meals in the evening?

i cope by eating the same as OH & DD :D
or as i got told the other day making them eat the same as me :rotfl:
tbh i've had no complaints about what i'm giving them just occasionally about the portion sizes :p

involve them, look round to try & find something you can all eat & enjoy, there is loads of recipes in the thread, or take something you used to eat & find a way of cooking it healthier.

    Hi everyone

so, my first official day of SW after joining last night. Went well until this pm, had no sins, eaten 2 HE and then....chocolate fudge cake with ice-cream. In my defence it was my nana's funeral so was in her honour as she loved her cakes and chocolate:D

Absoloutly no idea how to work out sins so what do I do:confused:. Take it as all of them for the week or just start again tomorrow?

Am definatly going to gym after son's footie match am ( if the snow does'nt get it called off...please, please God:rotfl: )

angchris I cooked lots of SW recipes off here last week (meatballs, casserole, curry ) and my youngest said "mom can you cook these more often they're much nicer than normal!" When I said yep cos it would help me to lose weight he said "you're not fat, well maybe a little bit, well maybe more than a little bit..." Needless to say he's grounded for the rest of his life:rotfl:

Anyway b4 I waffle on for ever give it a go they (and you) may be pleasantly surprised.

Good luck to every one with the 5lb challenge...after today I think I'm gonna need it:D

Hi just seen this thread...can I join too please particularly as it`s my birthday on 5th March so I have some thing to aim for! :rotfl:
  • Well new thread so new motivation I hope. Have to admit to messing around a bit since my initial good weight loss at the beginning of the year. I have been really good going to the gym but as far as the healthy eating goes I have gone from days when I have been practically saintly to other days when my halo has been down in the depths somewhere!

Anyway, new day, new thread, new start. Feel yucky because I managed to eat my way through a whole pack of chocolate digestives last night (don't even like them - I buy them for my daughter as they're the one biscuit I can usually leave alone) so looking forward to healthy food today.

Written myself a list of things to do today so I can keep myself busy and I am going to report back this evening with what I've eaten. Only 7 weeks before we go to Oz to see my sister so I really want to stick at it and lose hopefully 10lbs before then (5lbs of that in the February challenge).
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Hello Jo and well done for joining SW. I find it one of the easiest eating plans I have joined!:j
Put yesterday behind you and start again today with your
    syns intact.
SW knows that we are all human and knows that we will slip up from time to time!:A
If you gave up your syns for the week you would not enjoy the plan and would be setting yourself up for failure.

So get stuck in to those syns!
