I didnt like the Quorn Sausages either so have avoided them for a long time. These are really nice, they are in the frozen cabinet with the quorn - well they are in my tesco. DD asked what I was making - mmm, I love sausages she said - eeek, not green ones I don't!!!
  • I will have a look out for them.

I'm quite lucky as my sister works in our local Tesco store and as part of her job she makes all the reductions, so anything that she thinks would benefit me, she puts to one side for me. Sometimes she turns up with a few items for under a quid!

Anyway all this talking of food is making me hungry, so I'm going to cook my steak - yum yum!

    Catch u later

I had chicken parminganna (sp) which is chicken breast with bacon & cheese on a bed of spaghetti with tomato/red pepper sauce & chips :D we had garlic pizza to start & a side order of onion rings between us  on the plus side i didnt have pudding ... but i did have 3 glasses of wine & tia maria with my coffee  sorry if my typing is slurred :rotfl:

so i have to be extra careful for the rest of the week now  and my sis is coming at the weekend so that wont happen  never mind, who needs to watch what they are eating anyway

Hey, am a bit overweight :A HEY? WHO IS'NT?

and starting a new diet! I quit the gym today (WISE MOVE) yes I know, as I pay £37 no NOW £41 a month and hardly ever go, and for someone who is 16 (and only works four hours a week) is a lot of money, as I am in college! + I have only gone about 5 times in the last 6 MONTHS!

So, I quit the gym, and now brought a skipping rope from tesco today, which I am going to do regularly @ home. Also, I have managed to save up a bit and will go to argos tomorrow and buy a bench press and some weights at home. A friend of mine brought this, and does it everyday, and now I am eager to do so! its going to cost £65 which is like one and a half months at the gym, but I now have the comfort of doing it in my garage!

Anyway, I was looking into buying a Protein Milkshake, as my friend says its meant to be really good, and just want other people views on which flavours to buy and is it worth it? Tessco cheapest tub is about £19.50 which I was thinking of buying! they have chocolate flavour and orange flavour! Has any1 else used any?

    Thanks in advance, lethal

    Evening all

Here's the chart for this week. I'm having problems with my ISP at the moment so time has been limited to say the least! Apologies if I've left anyone or anything out - please let me know and I'll do an update (ISP willing) as soon as I can.

Congratulations to Petrichor, Samcantcope and Suggs for achieving the January challenge, and well done to Plum Pie and Samcantcope who both lost 5 pounds this week and are therefore joint Slimmers of the Week! :T :T

Something very strange has happened to my scales, so I've no idea how well DH and I did this week - the first time I weighed in I'd lost 2 stone :D and DH had gained 7 lbs, so we tried again this morning and I'd gained 7lbs and DH had lost 1 stone :rotfl:

    Have a good week everyone.

  • Thanks for the chart Lois. i am well chuffed with this weeks weightloss,

Congratulations to all the other losers,

I am currently eating very healthy, Museli for breakfast, ham salad for lunch and normal meals for dinner (lasagne/curry/stew etc) I am taking my time when eating, I put my knife and fork down between each mouthful and just eat slower and dont rush and it really works, the hardest part is to not empty the plate.
Has anyone else tried doing this, if so would be interested in how you got on:question:
