Spoke to DHL again and basically they have said that their is very little they can tell me because of the data protection act but what they can tell me is that their is 100% no chance of my Parcelbee parcels being picked up in the near future or at all ,so that's me £50 down the drain!

I will contact paypal but with what has been said in this forum it looks like i don't stand much chance of getting it back ,looks like a call to trading standards is on the cards as well?

    why are we not protected?

because paypal is a company of eBay. So they just protect ebay transactions. if PB withdraw all money from their paypal account. We still cannot get money back from paypal. That is my knowledge. Maybe i am not completely correct.

i don't think parcelbee offer any discount code at the moment. My parcels have not been collected on Friday. Not sure what's wrong between DHL and parcelbee. I emailed parcelbee at Friday night. They replied they will reschedule the collection on Monday. After reading these messages above, not very confident with parcelbee.

    !!!!!!

AND I can't get hold of them

    Now what do I do?!?!?!

    Dunno.

I have rang them, and you get the automated thing at the beginning about trying to put you through to an operator

Then some random bloke answered!! He'd had a new phone line installed, and he's had about 500 calls today asking for parcel bee

    !!!!!!!!

If you but an item not an ebay sale and it doesn't turn up you are fully protected by paypal even if they empty their account (it changed in september

I'm not sure how it will work with Parcelbee though as you have purchased a service. You may need to look through paypala T&Cs
  • If you don't want to give the Monkey free publicity, then just write the City Link ref on the box (PM references currently start with MBG). CL don't need the PM label as they print their own label with a barcode once they are in the van.
Looks much more professional if you're selling and don't want a grinning primate to greet your customers. :D

Likewise, if you want your customer to return something, just book a delivery and give them the reference number to write on the box. Much less hassle then having your customers print out a PDF and try to stick it to the box.
