    Well

looks like all my Christmas things will be done mainly next week because the weather is meant to be awful! Typical for the kids going back to school really isn't it.

So my list fro Rudolph day has been moved to next week and so Im hopign to have the remainder of my week look like this

Wednesday - Ben back to school
+ into town to pay bills
+ pick up any last minute craft needing pieces
+ scour charity shops for bits and pieces

    Thursday
    + notepad covered
    + photo album covered
    - cross stitch in evening if any left to do by then

    Friday
+ Christmas card making bits gone through
+ Attempt to make some Xmas cards

Like I said Money is tight this month so will be watching every penny so charity shops it will have to be for now me thinks and crafting bits and pieces that I already have in.

Just worked out I should have about £250 by Xmas in savings (gradually slow I know) but hoping all other gifts will be done by then and I will have Ben's main present so just need to start looking in sales etc for some more presents for him.

and to decide what I'm buying his father for Xmas! His dad prefers lots of small gifts rather than one big gift. But Christmas is a nightmare because I never know what he wants until like 3 days before when he mentions something!

My dad is exactly the same, I start asking my parents what they want for Christmas in about November, my dad will say 'I'll have a think and get back to you.' So I'll ask him again and again and he won't have picked anything. Then about 3 days from Christmas he'll go 'I want so-and-so, but you can only get it online, custom order, from China....' Drives everyone mad!
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't important

Did anyone hear Ken Bruces 'Christmas' contestant on popmaster this morning? He buys himself a pressie, wraps it, gets up the next morning unwraps the gift, has christmassybreakfast, goes to work, comes home to make himself christmas dinner (with sprouts) and watches the Queen's Speech (taped on 25th Dec LOL)
And apparently he does this everyday...
    (and he is married!)
This morning he unwrapped a guitar!

can't help thinking it can't be special if it's done everyday - and no pleasure of anticipation!

I was overcharged at Sainsburys a while ago and emailed them explaining that I lived quite a distance away, and they sent me a voucher instead. Think it was a £5 one, which was more than I was overcharged. But it would've taken me an hour and 2 buses each way to visit the store again. Worth a try...?

I think I used the form on the website. http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/sol/contact_us/contact_us.jsp
Yes, the voucher was to use in Sainsbury, but I don't remember it having an expiry date. I know I had it in my purse for a while before I spent it (on a cross stitch magazine, I think! ;))
