They are so easy to make, in fact they are the easiest thing i have ever made.
http://ladynthestamp.blogspot.com/2008/05/post-it-note-wallet-tutorial.html
Here's the link i used the instructions are so simple.
I got the post it notes from tesco i think it was 2 packs for £1,
1 pack on its own is to thick for the holder but perfect if split in half, so 1 pack of post it notes will make 2 holders.
Dont forget about the bubble wrap match books to, i used these instructions

My son who is 6 is gonna hand write a message inside with a silver / gold pen. I was gonna print a label for them but they looked to mass produced.
The tea bag holder will have a printed poem inside them though, as i cant be bothered to write it out over and over again. Plus i dont think i'd fit it all in if it was hand written.
My friend has just asked me to make her some pink one's for her daughters christening and she's gonna put after 8 mints in them as little thank you favours.
Think i need to invest in a sizzix or cuttlebug, so off to ask for advice on the craft thread.
Is there a craft thread here? I have the sizzix, but I love my cricut as with scal software I can cut out many things with it fonts, shapes etc... I am glad i never sold my sizzix as it is used for embossing cards etcI am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:

Tesco's have all the sharpies marker pens on offer.
A 4 pack of mini sharpies are £1.50 reduced from £3.
They come in all sorts of colours.
I need to get a few more packs before the price goes back up.
I have just looked online and tesco do their own brand permanant markers in reb, blue, black & green for 80p (normally £1.60) these are half price until 9th september. They look a similar size to the mini sharpies.
(although i did get my pens for free following the advice on the coupons / vouchers thread):T
There are a few craft threads on this board, i ment to say i asked for advice on the cardmaking / scrapbooking thread.
I still havent decided which one to go for yet though. Think i need to do more research before i part with my cash.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T

Well another part of OH's present arrived yesterday, and is now wrapped. I'm really getting into wrapping things prettily, so I'll add some pics at some point. I'm half way through a sock monkey for a friend in pink and black stripes, which are her favourite colours, so I'll try and get a wriggle on with that.
I got some cheap wrapping paper at Spar of all places, popped in for some bread and found some £2.99 for 4m rolls reduced to 99p, and it's nice patterns too. Got some less good quality stuff too, plain red.
We've got our new lodger moving in this weekend though, and his room is still full of stuff, so I think Christmas may have to wait until after I've finished making that ready!Saving for a house deposit.
Trying to sort clutter and sell as much as possible to make room and money!0 -
Hello! Can I join in please?! I bought my first Xmas present yesterday - I guess that makes me a latecomer!! I bought the Robocop Box Set from Play.com for hubby for £4.99. They have loads of different DVDS on there in the sale from £2.99 upwards and free delivery!
And I want to get crafty!! I've ordered some bits from Ebay to make some handbag charms which will hopefully be OK and I love the Girls Night in basket idea! That will be perfect for some friends!!
I'm going to watch and learn from you ladies here! My hubby has 9 nieces and nephews to find presents for so it's an expensive time of year!!
Where do you all think is best to find gift boxes, wrapping paper etc and baskets for hampers?
I'm feeling all Christmassy now!!!0 -
