I think this sums up what I and the others still waiting are feeling:

What's even more depressing is I'm old enough to remember when this record first came out :rolleyes:0 -

TBH I am totally sick to the teeth of all this logging in with no success, just tried again and as usual I was rejected!
I think I am going to have a break from the forum because when I keep reading of people who have got their money I get even more depressed, don't get me wrong I am pleased for you but I feel totally left out TBH.
Good luck to everyone.
Aww, Nilrem, don't go. I was feeling the same as you yesterday and, like Suesie, burst into tears when the money finally was released.
Don't feel left out, unfortunately there are still quite a few of you who haven't had the good news yet.
Those of us that have are just coming on here to try to make you other guys feel positive about the eventual outcome and I think I can say that we're all just as anxious to know that all our new mates in here are going to get their dosh.
I'll repeat that the support received in this marvellous thread has been second to none and much kudos to you for starting it. :T :TSheryl
An Icesaver no more :T0 -
Just caught up with the day's thread as I've been out since this morning. So glad to hear suesie and ... (sorry my mind has gone blank and I've forgotten who else got theirs
) have got your emails. I really, really hope the rest of you get yours this afternoon. If I recall from yesterday, emails were still going out at 5pm so please don't lose hope yet, although I know that's easier said than done.
<<<HUGS>>> :A
Btw, great poem amistupid :T... you should get it published

Hi,
A quick reply to say that finally I also got my mail and made my claim (today 1.30pm). Good luck everyone!0 -
Just received the following from FSCS to my originally-registered talktalk address:
This email has been sent to you because records available to us indicate that you are a customer of Icesave. If you are not, please contact us by email at enquiries@fscs.org.uk.
You recently obtained a copy of our first email by emailing us at Icesave@fscs.org.uk. It appears from our records that the email address you used did not match the one registered on your Icesave account. In order to help ensure you receive our second email inviting you to log on to the Icesave website, we are now asking you to please log in to your Icesave account and update your old email address with your new one. We will then be able to use this updated email address to contact you when we send out your second email.
If you experience any difficulties with the process, please seek assistance by calling Icesave’s Customer Services Helpline on 0845 605 6050.
Yours faithfully

I've replied telling them it's now sorted via my re-registered hotmail address, but more to the point, it looks as though FSCS are "sweeping up" so hopefully should not be too much longer for those still waiting.
Good luck, especially to Nilrem who kicked this thread off. You deserve better mate and look fwd to your good news soon.0 -
At last! Just logged on to OH's account and this time his initiate button worked! Just done his claim for him, then asked him if he had checked his e mails. Apparently not...............his second e mail had arrived at 13.25. Doh!!
So we 3 are all now waiting for the money to arrive.(and the ISA certificates...that will be the really long wait)
Good luck to those still waiting!0 -
Maybe only the people who have had their money back should look at this thread now:embarasse
Not at all Grnglide. I think that we have all been on a rollercoaster of emotions these past few weeks, and we have all pulled together, boosting each other with great humour. I think that the initial feeling that we were all in the same boat comforted us all, but as we hear of more and more people accessing their monies, and we are still left, it can become quite soul destroying.
I think that though those who are still to recieve their comp are really happy for those who have, it is compounding the stress for them (does that make sense?)
I might just walk away for a few hours myself and give the computer a rest but hope to see all of you when I get back - those who have had and those who haven't, as we do still appreciate you coming back and being supportive :A0 -
When I didn't get the first email, I changed my email address on my Icesave account to a different one and then did the 'send blank email' trick for which I got a response. I then heard that maybe that wasn't a good idea and I managed to change the spam settings of my original email address and reset to Iceave email to that, the I managed to trigger another 'first email' which I received ok. I have now just received the following email from the FSCS:
