Mrs Tine glad to see your home safe! I feel for you, my hubby was on potassium drip amongst many others in July and he said the pot one stinged like mad when it went in!
    Look after yourself xx

I'm feeling a bit deflated at the mo as I've had what the docs beleive to be implantation bleed but won't know for sure until I have a scan in 2 weeks.
Also I had a light bulb moment and thought wouldn't it be good if for my mums b-day I could put a scan pic in her card so I wrote how many weeks all through the calendar and I'll be 10 on her bday so I can't do that  oh well I suppose I won't steal her thunder :)

  • Keely - thanks for your birth story! It's encouraging to hear from women who have just been through it and sound positive about the experience!
MrsTine - Glad you're back from hospital. I hope you're feeling better and hopefully all your MS will wear off by 12 weeks!

I'm doing well, really looking forward to the weekend. Got paid, so I want to do some shopping....(MSE style of course!) I've got a couple coupons to redeem - the baby bag from boots and the mum and baby pack from sainsburys....all I need to do is buy diapers with each, and of course I've got a boots voucher from pigsback. :D

Hi MrsTine, glad to hear that you are out of hospital and feeling better. Must have been quite reassuring for you to see the little heart beat. I couldn't believe at my 12 week scan that we could see the heart beat. I was just so excited about 'seeing' bubs that it didn't occur to me that we could see the heart beat.

Candygirl - Glad your daughter is managing with lots of TLC for you. just what a girl needs is that support of mum.

MFD - hope your research is going well !!!!
  • I WISH I had known about this last year when I was commuting to London, and could never get a blooming seat on the train! First Capital Connects will upgrade preggies' regular season tickets to first class for FREE so we can have a bit of space and luxury in the posh cabins. They dont advertise it but I saw it on their FAQ's today and wanted to share the knowledge so a few girls can take advantage of the offer.

    Here is the link: http://www.firstcapitalconnect.co.uk/Main.php?section_id=20&iCmsPageId=79

Season Ticket holders can apply to Customer Relations for a free upgrade to First Class. Please forward a copy of your Maternity Certificate (MAT B1) or your Family Health Services Authority Exemption Certificate (FP92), along with a copy of your Season Ticket and Photocard to our freepost address. Arrangements will be made for you to receive a letter of authority allowing you to travel in First Class.

I had an implantation bleed and was fine, they scanned me fairly quickly because i'd already had a scan which said they couldn't rule out an eptopic or something.
I'm sure you'll be fine xx

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Hi All

This thread is moving very fast lately.....

I phoned my local leisure centre this morning to enquire about Aqua natal classes, they said I have to phone my midwife to arrange it, is this normally the way it is done??
It is about 8 years since I last went to one, but I thought I just turned up, maybe it has changed.

I am also very excited as I have got my cot (secondhand) in perfect condition, Mamas and Papas Amelia range....for £30 full price is £170. was a bargain not to be missed. I have also, finally, seen the Graco Cleo in the flesh and I love it!!! It is definatley the one for me. I am also very excited as the baby's movements are getting very strong, dh and the boys will probably be able to feel them in a couple of weeks.

    Mel x
