    Afternoon Everyone

Finally got round to making oopsies this afternoon and was quite surprised how easy they were to make and how well they turned out.

They make a great "bun" for a burger.I had lamb burger and salad for tea

I'm going to surprise hubby with burger and salad later it should make a change for him

Elona congrats on getting in trousers two sizes down.I've just started to feel comfortable in some of my 16 clothes but I'm assuming its the bigger sized ones as the others are still a little too tight.I can get in a size 16 jeans but the muffin top effect over the waistband is a little off putting:rotfl:

Gillette is a little quiet this week.Gillette come back we miss you

Sounds good Lesley - I must give the oopsies a go. Although I must say I'm motivated largely by curiosity to try them, rather than actually missing bread... very surprising for a former bread addict, but true lol

I'm planning on giving the cauli pizza a go tomorrow. I think MSE is down tomorrow isnt it, but I will report back the results!

Just finishing up at work... can't wait to get out of here. Have a great weekend everyone!

    Much love,

I tried the cauli pizza and was disappointed with the base cos no matter how long I cooked it for it wouldnt crisp up and ended up rather soggy. But in my defence that is probably because I used frozen cauli and then cooked it.It would have been better to defrost the cauli and use it uncooked.Plus I didnt use enough herbs so the base was quite bland.Good luck I'll be intrigued to find out what you think

High carb veg are sweetcorn, peas, sweet potato, sweet peppers, all beans except for french beans I think, not sure about all of them as working from memory.

I know lettuce, cucumber, cabbage, cauliflower, asparagus, mushrooms are low carb.

It's typical, I've just gotten into the swing of really good low carb cooking and I'm off on Holiday on Monday so I'm going to ruin it! Not that I'm complaining! I probably won't be able to check in again before I go so have a good week everyone!

Saint Chris- high carb veggies are carrots, peas, sweetcorn, sweet potato (and normal potatoes of course!) and parsnips (I think!). Basis rule of thumb is to stick to green leafy veggies!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

I have a question... corn & peas have the same carb content as potatoes...what veg can you have?

Turns out that ALL my favourite vegs are high carbs.
