....and I'm sure you and vix would be too, from the way you both speak. :D
    Ha! I'm flattered into submission:D .
Thanks again missy - I should have added that I am pleased to beable to make her happy when I can. I do compromise where possible, to lesson any effect of when I just can't.
Vix - that's a real life lesson you picked up. Ghastly as the experience was you didn't waste it either. I do feel at 21 you should be living life , getting out there and not tying yourself down financially to a mtg quite yet. It's just a pain that rent is just as expensive as a mtg, otherwise that would be a great next step. Thanks for a good laugh too on the snogging front:D . Oh and re the fruit jiuce request - you be better off with the real fruit, so you get the healthy roughage with it, not just the high sugar content of juice, albeit natural sugars.
Granny - can I echo bails and say please don't feel bad on my account re the exercise. I love hearing what everyone gets up to exercise wise. The biggest lesson I have learnt through ill health is to listen to your instinct and only do the things in life you really want to where ever possible. So to force yourself into any activity you didn't actually enjoy would be completely against my ethos. Bails advice I think is great - perhaps look for an activity you enjoy that just increases movement. But do it for its own sake not 'to be good'. Well done on how much you have lost and you look so differnt in you 'now' photos u.e. really lovely. And, you haven't put the main bulk of your loss back on : this is great. Love the dragon.

boy you lot sure do talk up a storm, i really needs to remeber to come and catch up multiple times a day.

put me down as a sts this week on the chart please efrieze, last weeks 3lb gain has all vanished somehow, think ill blame it on totm water retention or something since it disapeared so easily and so fast.

skipped step aerobics tonight, really not in the mood. and missed sundays spinning and mondays step thanks to the bank holiday, not been a good week for exercise so far. i need a kick up the butt.

my SW leader is calling tonight with a kick start diet sheet ,its really strict and this is what I need to get me going again , can't remember its proper name

.....sounds very much like Fast Forward wendy. To be honest it's not TOO bad but you really wouldn't like to be on it twice. There's a lot of variety in it but the portion sizes are tiny. You're allocated a number of units per day, and there are a selection of 5-unit snacks and 8-unit meals to choose from, so you'd end up typically with 5+5+8+extras for your daily total. Extras are either 1 or 2 units. A 1 unit extra is 8 (not 9 :)) strawberries. As I say, it's varied but you dont wanna do it twice lol

Did half an hour on the exercise bike today, better than nothing :)

My tech tops have arrived from Snow & Rock, and a rather fetching new 'bum bag' (smaller than the one I have already) for when I go running and cycling so I can carry my phone & keys :D Haha, can't believe I've just used the phrase "when I go running" :rotfl:

Hey Granny, hugs about the gain. Can only suggest starting over, setting new mini targets. You've done great losing before and you know how it's done :) Is it 'formal' exercise you find offputting, are there any ways you can squeeze a teeny bit additional activity around the house into your day without it seeming like proper exercise? ... And you do look stunning in the latest pic!

Wendy, well, a STS isn't by any means a disaster but well done for making the decision to do the kick start - hopefully a change will get everything going again! You are another one who knows exactly how it's done from your brill weight loss before :) Do tell us all about this kick start deal though!

BB don't forget to let us know what you have to eat on Friday! (And what you compromise on.... ;)) I was trying to remember the last time I ate out in a restaurant (not including on holiday) and it was last July :o

beanielou I'm not sure ajax seems to know more about it than me and I won't know till she comes after the evening class , but someone else told me you were only allowed on it for two weeks tops , then you have to return the leaflets she gives you, maybe if ajax is watching the footy he may pop in at half time and tell me , all i know is she will ring me tommorrow and i have to tell her the whole weeks menu i have picked , sounds strict !

cor gosh fab: kpc, we had your white bean mash & steaks (on the recipe board) for dinner and it was soo delicious. OH actually used the d word and he's not given to such over effusiveness:rotfl: though always very apprciative. I did choose to add 1/2 tbsp of olive oil to the mash: I felt the addition to the flavour was worth it and only 1.5 syns each. I served it with broad beans too. Did the scrapy thing in the pan with the lemon too.
Not quite a restaurant missy - a pub lunch(or am I splitting hairs?). Yes we rarely eat out either, if you don't count cafe's for a tea & summat). I cashed in some pigsback points for a bella restaurant voucher but not used them yet. Will report back in full, especially if i have been virtuous:D .

Evening all. Here is this week's chart. A very big and bold congratulations to The Dragon who is our well deserved Slimmer of the Week with a 5.5lb loss. Yay:j She has also achieved the monthly challenge this week too. Well done to ajaxgeezer who came in second place this week with a great 3lb loss. Well done also to Kymrob who is our Slimmer of the Month with an amazing 15lb loss this month. Well done to alison99, efrieze, nicci984, PinkLipgloss, retiredlady, safesound and surfbabe for achieving the monthly challenge this month.

The June challenge will run for 5 weeks (until 2nd July) so that gives you a little more time to try to get 5lbs off! I am going away next wednesday for a week so if anyone wants their chance to look after the chart (either just for 2 wednesday or for the whole of the June challenge, please PM me, otherwise the chart will have to appear on Thursdays for the next 2 weeks - as I will be flying both wednesday nights!!!)
