you might wanna practise your snogging technique ajax, too much washing machine for my liking :p

reminds me of one of my early memories of clubbing, you know when you turn around and snog anyone whos standing there. Well this bloke, coooooooooor. Worst snog of my life!!!!! He put his tongue in and just whirled it around and around really quickly. He had quite a large tongue and he had loads of saliva that had a beer taste thrown in.

Its quite disgusting when i think of it actually, and that i even did that!

I feel guilty about the lack of exercise, particuarly when I think of the peeps on this thread who would love to be able to run/walk/swim and can't. I have no excuses.

Any suggestions for regaining the impetus? I'll go in the garden and eat worms (free on a red day?) and wait for the bitey boot.sad-smiley-018.gif

Hey Granny, sorry you're struggling with it at the mo. Don't forget to feel fab about how far you've come already and then we can help you get some second wind (so to speak :p).
    1) Don't feel guilty about the exercise thang at all; there are many things we can do that others cant and yet you simply cant spend your time feeling guilty about it. Where would you draw the line?
    2) stop using the word 'exercise' - by your own admission, you don't like the stuff so stop thinking about it
    3) find something you enjoy doing (that just happens to burn some calories along the way). Don't think about it in terms of your WL though; I reckon there's a lot to be said for accidental calorie usage (see Ajax's Wii running for a case in point).

The boy is also talking a lot of sense re the food side of things - refocus for a week and see what happens. You will get there! x

Any advice on how to walk in heels? Im practising by walking in them today, but lord. Im gunna have been working 8 hours on my feet, then wear these babies!! Heels look fab, but they dont feel it, nor do i probably look it trying to walk in them! Feel like a little girl in her mothers shoes. Ive committed £18 so the heels have to work heh.

Heel to Toe, Heel to Toe, or so I learnt

Start with lower wider heels first, to redce the risk of twisting or spraining your ankle and take your time :)

First, imagine you have a cord running through your body that comes out of the top of your head, and the cord is attached to a hook in the sky! This will improve your posture generally - then make sure you take small steps, keeping your weight on the ball of your foot, not the heel.

Practice lots between now and the 'do'!
