Slapps posted a link to download the region 0 hack earlier it was - http://people.freenet.de/Targa/frieschalten_des_regionalcodes.htm
U then need to create a folder on the desktop called RMTM000 - then inside that another folder called SCARLET - cut and paste the file from the download site into it and then just burn this to your disk.HLK

hi hlk
Thanks have done it now, an earlier post had said to rename the downloaded file to kpjct19_1.dvd which i had done but it didn't work. I burnt it as you said but without renaming the downloaded file and it is now working great.

If you missed out on this item, PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT FROM EBAY. It will only encourage those sellers to continue buying up bargains all over the place.
If your main reason for wanting one is for the divx capability, then there are better machines around, although unfortunately not at the same price.
So, if you were to buy an alternative one, I would highly recommend the Yamada 6700 - no card reader but probably the best value dvd/divx player in its price category, for around £40. It has at least half a dozen unofficial (but 100% reliable) firmwares all over the net for it and supports everything but qpel and GMC encoded divx files.

I bought the mx-105 and it was one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. It is an awful, awful player. I returned it and got a H&B 3325, which I am very pleased with. But my favourite player is 13 months old DK Digital 339. You can see my comments on the mx-105 at my-yamada.co.uk.
I got to Beckton Lidl this morning by 8.00 am, I didn't see any dvd players pilled up on pallets, but several people had many players in their trolleys despite the fact the Manager had clearly said only 1 dvd player per customer.
I found a man who had at least 8 in his trolley hiding at the back of the store, on his mobile phone. He was obviously telling his friends to get to the supermaket to buy the players. I asked him, if all the players were for him and he said yes. I asked if I could have just one and he said no.
But two other men who had overheard our conversation came over and started shouting at him "Why do you need all those dvd players, are you going to sell them?" A Lidl employee who had heard the shouting, came over and told the man, that he could only have one. So the men took the trolley off the guy and took out some dvd players and gave one to me and took one each for themselves!Wins 2007 :Boots £125, XBOX 360 & 3 games 2008:5 David Gray CDs £10 DVD voucher 2 Crossed Bones DVD & chocolate Torch.
