Thank you lovely ladies.
I took cash out today and it's burning a hole in my pocket!
Spends
Toaster -Home £15
Need some replacement flats but they are very cheap in primark.
The problem with going into primark is that you want to buy everything.
Bought a toaster today but then couldn't carry anything else.
Have hardly bought any clothes in the last few Months. My mum bought me some jumpers including one from Boden which is lovely. But also kind of sad because that is the kind of thing I would buy if I didn't have debt.
but I could really do with a lot of new things. For tomorrow going to try primark only and small food shop and possibly pick up some DVDs because I am not going out very much and getting a bit bored - but when I am going out it looks like it could be expensive.
Wish it was closer to payday.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

Hey PSL - do you do any secondhand shopping? I quite often pick up Boden and other nice clothes in the shops round here. I don't tend to buy anything new now, and just go to charity shops for the thrill of the chase!0

Aww Ramble we don't really see much Boden round these parts. My town is a bit like one you might see on a channel 5 show about families with no money. We have food banks that are heavily over subscribed and loads of our restaurants and pubs are empty because people just don't have the money.
The town centre is full of discount shops, and the homeless population has rocketed.
We have one of those shops where most people can get credit but the lending rate means that you pay for the thing you have bought 3 times over. This is one of our busiest shops.
I buy a lot of books and DVDs but not clothes.
yesterday went out after work - spent
Foods lunch £3 and Lidl £6.50
Drinks/pub £12
Travel £25
Tomorrow home
Friday - pick up watch and pay for repair and meet friend for drink, come home after 1 or 2 or possible soft drink depending.
Sat- pub, small food top up shop
Very tired. Work is hectic- but the good kind.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

Could you do eBay for boden and netflix instead of dvds? Or, if you're heading into london anyway sat am root out some charity shops there which might have decent stuff?
I actually hate clothes shopping (which is quite lucky I guess) so rarely buy anything, but as a result I now have no clothes!!!0 -
I just kind of shop in primark for clothes as the moment. Kind of going without nice things and making do plus Sainsbury's is ok.
Spent £12 today
£4 Foods - cereal, carrot, banana
£3.70 toiletries
£4.30 wine
Going out for lunch tommorow (cheap) and quick post work drink then home and out Saturday. This month is going on for so long.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan
Overdraft And 1 credit card paid off.

I was just thinking the same thing...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.

I'm still so amazed by how much food shopping is. Was reading an article on it yesterday and it is clear that the rising cost of food is outstripping wages. And it's not only that, everything else too. I got a £500 pay rise this year which translates to b*gger all after tax/NI yet all of our monthly bills (elec, water, council tax, telephone) are going up! Basically means I am less well off than I was last year. Not to sound all doom and gloom - I just mean that life is expensive and probably going to get worse, at least until Brexit really beds in!
Hope you have a lovely weekend - very envious of your social plans. x0
