Ah, yes, then I see it might be difficult. Are you able to find some local friends? If you like reading, there is a FB group called the Poppy loves bookclub and you can either join in online from home (for free so very MSE, esp if you borrow the book from the library rather than buy it), or there are various groups - might be one local to you!
TBH I think I am going to have to find some new friends(!). In my close friendship group, my MOH has just moved to Aus for a minimum of 2 year(!) and the rest of that group are not going to have kids so there is already a bit of a divide (from them, not me, and not from them in a nasty way, just that the group trips we did previously probably won't happen as they won't be the same). Signing up for NCT classes though in the hope that will allow us to meet some new people!!0 -
Awwww thanks Coastal. I had a look and might give it a go. Their books like a bit High brow for me but love the concept. Thank you. xx
Your friends will still want to be your friends but things will be slightly adjusted. My best friend has 2 children under 4 and we manage to do things together and sometimes with kids too* Although when the kids were first born we didn't do very much.
But we still love each other and we still want to see each other. See how it works out. *most of her friends are mums now and I think sometimes she thinks I don't understand about being a mum. But we both try hard.
It will be OK. And NCT will be good. My friend has lots of NCT friends and she found it very helpful. You never know you might in time take a trip over to your friend. Although right now it probably seems unthinkable! But see how
It goes. xx
I had forgotten it was Easter today and hardly any shops open so will need to pick up a few bits tommorow but means today is NSD. So a good way to start the month.
Always feel a bit stressed just before mortgage is paid but once most money goes out Tuesday will feel a bit calmer.
Tomorrow need -
1)small food top up shop
2)Social including travel, pub, McDonald's
3) new toaster
The last one was producing smoke and has stopped working altogether so need to replace.
Then need to make lunch for Tuesday so that Tuesday is NSD.
Then make lunch for wed,Thur, fri and be home for delivery Tuesday.
So that the week up to Saturday is very very low spend.
Then see what Happens from Saturday onwards.2017- 5 credit cards plus loan

Food shop came yesterday. Very pleased. The man was really nice and now got lots of loo roll- and cupboards and feeezer are full so that's good. Lots of meals to be eaten.
Although did buy lettuce, salad creme, real butter, crisps, chocolate, biscuits today and some jelly sweets. Couldn't add lettuce to shop so now have one and can Do lunch for tomorrow.
Think I slept £8 on food today.
Not very much else going on.
Trying hard
*there is a post above which doesn't make much sense - it was in response to something somebody posted that wasn't great but please ignore- I have trouble quoting on my phone.
Very tired.

Spends
Work lunch £5 counting as social
Not sure what the weekend will bring. Hopefully can just stay in and watch TV.
Then
Mon- take lunch in then home, possible food TOP up shop
Tue - take lunch in then out in evening
Wed- take lunch in and home,
Thur- take lunch in and home
Fri - take lunch in and tbc
Need to keep a lid on the social. It gets all out of hand so quickly.
Got too many invites but can only afford very little and a lot going on family-wise and best- friend wise.
