I went about two years ago with a friend and her three kids and we found the multi-park tickets to be great value for money. They have lots of variations on number of parks and number of days, which means you can go in and out as many times during the period as you like and you still have the freedom of selecting which park to go to and when. If you are hiring a car, the car parking is reduced in the evenings. Not sure what time of the year you are going, we found out we were in thunder storm season, so usually ended up going in the mornings as the likelihood of storms got greater as the day went on. I ended up downloading a free weather app while I was there which predicted the weather on an hourly basis and was pretty d...n accurate. I loved universal and the kids loved the water parks.
Have fun with the research
Take care everyone

Oooo not to late at all! all info greatfully received We are looking at the Disney unlimited 14 day ticket (which there is rumours might be going on sale in the next few days) and then maybe a 4 day Universal ticket to be used over 14 days, which seems to be my cheapest option I think. We're going in August so height of summer  will look for a weather app as that would be mega helpful! I do have a nice collection of Orlando information booklets that various forums told me to buy :rotfl: i'm reading them slowly and desperately trying to find a decent gluten free orlando blog to tell me where to feed DSinneedofmoney wrote: »jakes-mum, I have just come back from Orlando with 3 boys if you want any advice. We visited disney, universal, sea world, discovery cove and legoland. We did 5 nights in Disney villa and then hired a car and had a villa. Happy to answer any questions!
Ooo thank you to you too inneedofmoney We're going to do Disney and Universal as we felt that was enough for a first visit! DH wants to stay at a hotel as we are both disabled so having access to a pool and lots of entertainment for the kids is a high priority as we could be stuck round the pool on a few of the days. But seriously ANY tips on places to eat, shopping, or anything else you think an Orlando newbie beeds to know will be most greatfully received. We're also hiring a car for the entire trip as its just easier for us and if we need to hire a mobility scooter (which is near enough a certainty) it makes everything easier
