Just to clarify this, the free 150MB of data is with any topup, not just the £10 one. Top ups start from £5 on Three.

That is what the website seems to suggest - I couldn't anything to say it had to be a £10 topup. This means one should always topup in £5 increments, and pickup 150mb of data each time.

Can anyone confirm they've got the 150mb after a £5 topup?

Yes, just the same as when I joined last November. (150MB)

I don't want to buy a new mobile just for a 3 SIM.

From my research the best two options are:
    1. White Mobile
    2. Victory Mobile
Are these credible? Any personal experiences?

    Just to add.

    Victory mobile = 5p call / 4p text
    White mobile = 6p call / 5p text

Progress report on changing to Three 3-2-1.

We have two phones, mine is a Moto G, my wife's is a Nokia 3G (she's not here at the moment so I can't give model).

I had an unused Three standard size SIM that I trimmed to nano size using the cutter from amazon.co.uk. I topped up £10 online. I used the PAC from Ovivo and my number will be transferred tomorrow. £10 credit shows in the online account.

I bought a new SIM with £10 credit from Three online for my wife. BEWARE! Three only supply nano SIMs. They say an adaptor is included in the pack. It isn't, at least not in ours.

Those friendly types at a local Carphone Warehouse sold me a converter pack for £4.99 and inserted the nano SIM for me. Almost instant connection but the credit didn't latch.

Calling 333 later (free), I spoke to a CS person who clicked and the credit appeared. I applied the Ovivo PAC and the transferred number should appear in a couple of days, yesterday not being a working day.

The CS person appeared to be in the UK and our conversation had none of the offshore problems I had when I was a Three customer before.

The pack comes with a card showing codes for cheaper international calls. Some that are missing may be at http://text2topup.com/uk/call_throughs_three/ e.g. Switzerland landlines for 2p/minute.

There's another code somewhere on MSE offering Three UK calls for 2p a minute. (Must continue searching.)

The sim (free one) they sent me (2 of them in fact) are normal size sims.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

Unless of course mine is just inside an adapter and I just have not noticed!

The one GG sent me is annoying keep thinking I am going to shrink it by accident.

Thanks, marvin. I wonder if that was for a free SIM with no credit?

When I bought mine (SIM with £10 credit) a couple of days ago, they showed just a nano SIM. I didn't like that so tried again with the same result.

Unfortunately, another unused standard SIM wouldn't wotk, so I had to buy the new one. Sorted now but annoying at the time.
