My Toggle SIM has had my old O2 number ported to it. This makes it chargeable by other providers at the same rates as an O2 number . Very easy to arrange, and it removes all doubt.
I learn something every day. Thank you. :)

I'm tempted to do this for the positive reason you mention. I've already got permanent US and Swiss numbers (for £5 a year each) with my Toggle phone. Have you any idea whether porting in another number to replace the Toggle UK number would affect these? I have a spare Three number that I could use.

I know that I could ask Toggle but find their CS poor. Much happier asking MSEers.

    Thanks.

Sadly 3 no good for me despite being in Britain's second City absolutely no signal at home (despite their coverage map saying otherwise) and no data signal at work (again despite their map etc.) so the search continues for the back-up to GG on the dual sim phone.

Three would have been ideal if it worked.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

It would not affect the other country numbers at all.

I lent mine to someone with a French number added and the UK one about to change the next day, during her drive across France. No problem.

Did you order with the £10 topup included or order free sim and then top up when you received it ?

Got a Three 3-2-1 PAYG from amazon.
Someone sell it with £6.90 with preloaded £10. (although when I check balance, it has £9.98 left)
