Until mid-day today I was still receiving calls on Ovivo. At that point my number ported to 3..
I'm surprised Vodafone haven't switched everyone off

I'm glad they haven't. My port is due tomorrow and for now people can still contact me.
Given the rapid and unannounced closure of Ovivo, having incoming calls is a small comfort. Maybe Vodafone realise this?
I assume that someone is making money from the termination part of the incoming calls?

Advantage of giffgaff is that they were under o2 and o2 gave always been superbly reliable as far as reception was concerned.

Been with ovivo (vodaphone) and asda mobile (ee) and had numerous instances where I gave full reception bars but calls would hang before dialing meaning it was being rejected by the network.

Is this a virtual network issue or us it a network issue?

Correct. This is probably the reason incoming calls are still coming through.

Or maybe it costs ovivo to make outgoing calls and their network has barred them from doing so, but incoming calls are not charged therefore they are still working.

people love a conspiracy, but I think it's a good thing that you wre still able to get incoming calls as I used that number for business use and it would have been embarassing if the caller received a message saying the line is disconnected.

With 3 2 1 how can you see a breakdown of how your credit was spent? Eg calls to number xxxx texts to yyyyy

I'm on 321 and the answer is that you can't!

I have to say that while Ovivo was running the account information they provided was first class and it's a shame that others don't do similar.

Where can you get the Three 321 sim? I ordered White Mobile sims last week, but still not yet arrived (presumably 2nd class post), then ordered Three 3 2 1 sims, but these have still not yet arrived.

I'm keen to port out ASAP, and wondered if I can just go into a shop and buy a Three sim, like you can with some other networks? There isn't a Three shop near me, but there is a mobile shop and various corner shops that sell topups etc. Would they sell the Three 321 sim?

I'm amazed that Three and White aren't rushing sims out to people. This is a great opportunity to pick up tens of thousands of new customers who want a quick port out. If you put the sim on the slow boat, they will have gone somewhere else by the time it arrives.

My sim came the next day Heron.
I bought my phone from a 3 shop last year and had to buy a 3-2-1 sim with £10 on it as part of the deal so the 3 shops definitely have them.

you could try ebay,I sold mine on there for a small loss :(

It might sound logical but for the fact that O2 and all it's MVNOs had the worst outage of all the networks in recent times (late last year).
