Yep I've got online accounts and they never show anything, just best rates.
I used to have a host at PlanetHo as I played lots of craps but that doesn't register when accumulating enough for comped rooms, your host does that.
When you consider that we go for 8-10 nights at a time, 3 times a year and probably play through (not put in) $400-600 a night each and the only thing we get is enough points for free buffets.

But this has been the bee in my bonnet for some years now.

Not sure how much we play through, possibly more than that but not substantially more.

Strange why you wouldnt get comps

I have just left Vegas, put through 500 dollars through partners account and have now booked a week comp in Paris for next year. Stoneman - log onto total rewards and view calender for Vegas by month for all hotels and you should have some $0 dollar rooms

Just did that for my account and OH, nothing but as little as $25 some dates.
I used to look quite often but don't bother now. I doubt if I would use them anyway, we like where we stay and can afford their prices. Strip hotel rooms are too small, OH wouldn't be able to open up all her cases in one without them getting under foot.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

no con, that guy and a few others send out mailshots to dormant/active mlife accounts. They are casino hosts.
You'll get an offer of 1 or 2 room nights to get u back to vegas, etc.
Handy when planning a trip, but using a Host vs Mlife offer = need to spend money/time (like minimum 4hours a day) gambling.....

Either way, if you were planning 1 last trip to Vegas, and u could use a host to get a free room and not care about meeting a quota, do it....
Most peeps use up the mlife corporate offers and don't care too much about there spend in that hotel (if not planning on going back for a while!).
Hosts look at your previous play stat's, and make a judgement call whether to offer you a discounted room or free room, or free free room (meaning it includes resort fee).

if u get any kind of freebies, use them !! :D

hi and thanks for the detailed feedback stuie !!
we went to vegas 3 years in a row and never heard a peep from a host!!
sadly im a bit *tight* with my money-though i often tell myself i money saving and if i go gambiling -which in vegas i do- i do tend to have a limit and 99 outta a 100 stick to it.Sadly i dont think i would gamble for hours at a time, 20mins here and there 30 here and there ,like alot of people we go to vegas put x amount down and 95 outta a 100 lose!!
thanks again for your time and feedback !

    Hence why saying if u don't care about X, Y & Z , use whatever freebies u can get, or abuse a Host! ;);)
I did at the Cosmo in 2016.... A slots marketing guy put word out on the VMB board to entice players in (I only started playing slots in 2017/2018 , am more a table player) , I got in touch, who in turn put me in touch with a casino host for Cosmo....
I blagged a little ;) to get the 3 nights in City suite, and then blagged more at check-in to get the 'wrap-around terrace fountain view suite' which to this day, is by far the nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in (and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of my price range!)....

Short story, I didn't live up to the value of the comp, and gambled more at Mlife properties on those 3 nights instead of in the Cosmo...
As you can imagine now, they wont offer me a $1 discount on a room when I approach the hosts!! :D:D:D:D

use & abuse ! (but if your going back, just use on the places u like to go back to ! :D )

Friend of mine just mentioned that free drinks at the slots on the strip have been drying up? Anyone else noticed this?

It's been 18 months since I've been...so not up to date!

I had plenty when there back at Easter, mainly at Excalibur, Luxor NYNY and Mandalay Bay.

We were there in April. Can!!!8217;t say we had a problem getting a drink at the slot machines. We went to Mirage, Cromwell, Bally!!!8217;s, PH, Aria, NYNY and Tropicana in a two week time span.

Spent time off strip too, and didn!!!8217;t have a problem there either. Was definitely overserved more than once.
