As a guest of Wynn you have to spend a minimum of $50 for free parking.

parking is free if you are staying there, if you are just using the resort you need to spend $50 to get 24 hours free parking

Although I've been going to Vegas for years I've never bothered with players cards....so just curious as to how much gambling I'd need to do to start getting anything of note?

I'd probably gamble several hundred bucks across numerous properties per day, slots mostly...have I been missing a trick?

Yes. We signed up with Club Grazie (Venetian & Palazzo) last time we were there, and ended up with a free buffet, 2 for one breakfast, and about $400 in free play, and we didn't spend that much in their casinos, although we were staying there.
The one in Caesars Palace - Total Rewards - got us (this was in 2001) a free backpack, some pens, and other gubbins, and some freeplay. We still use the backpack when we go.
The Red on from Wynn got us some free play, and we got two free buffets from that (it helps if you go to the desk on your birthday, you get a few extras). There was also a spin the wheel feature too and you could win show tickets, buffets, etc every day.
And the Ellis island one got us freeplay & discounts on their brilliant grill.
So, they are worth signing up for.
Here's a link to various ones. HTH

If you google Vegas parking charges you will probably find a list of all current charges.

But apart from Tropicana and TI ( I think) all strip casinos and downtown casinos charge for parking, even the north outlet mall charges.

Wynn do have free parking if you are a guest or you spend x amount at the resort

    Palazzo has free parking.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

We have been going since year 2000, 2/3/4 times a year and have never once had any offers from any casinos. I don't even bother putting my cards in now as with a lot of properties they zero you back if you don't use the card within 6 months.

Our next trip is only a couple weeks away and we are stepping into the unknown.

First we are not staying at the Platinum for the first 2 nights, using some myVegas points for 2 nights at the Mirage, total cost including resort fees and taxes $80.
This is a good as we go over to Palazzo quite often anyway, will just have to get a cab to Tuscany for our traditional first nights gambling.

Secondly we are not hiring a car, we can Lyft to Walmart on Eastern to pick up supplies and the same to Town Square for Ulta and Sephora (not for me I may add). Car hire is around £50 a day so we will do without, and with most properties charging more for parking than a taxi costs why bother.

Yes and you will need to have an mlife account with the same email address associated to be avlble to redeem the rewards.

If you want to accumulate gold coins quicker it is worth playing the computer version plus the four mobile games.

    Enjoy the games.

I was looking at previous bookings and I think our car for the week is usually £150 but it's looking like nearer £200 this year. Will keep an eye out for deals of course.
