Feeling better than I did. Shopping was hard but I enjoyed sitting down and looking at the remaining leaves and the twinkly lights.

Did not get to do most of what I originally planned for the weekend but have done more tidying - spare bedding (2 sheets, i duvet cover and 2 pilowcases) is now in a bag under the bed. Some clean socks have been recovered (think the bag was one of the last I packed when I cleared my room), 3 more old DS3 t-shirts cut up for rags.

large bag of stuffing (for lavender bags) ripped into small pieces and dribbled with lavender oil which also helped shift the (axe through the) head ache that has been hanging around. More sewing and embroidery stuff sorted from the remaining 'stuff'' and stationery items all together. Now have 3 bags of bags, 1 long-life, 2 carriers. Taken next lot for reshuffling (currently on 3 cube shelves, should fit on one with some stuff attached to another box) taken down, only 3 boxes left on the floor none of which has much in (one is the doesn't quite fit anywhere else yet box).

So very pleased with what I have done. Fairly bad day so glad to get stuff done. Must just keep plodding and be ready to swoop on days when I do have a burst of energy.

Going to turn the laptop off and read until I fall asleep - should be earlier but can only start from where I am. Inspiration may not appear until mid morning.

Hi all:j

NSDs Still 3/15

ORGANISE your time. Not so much done today as I would like, hopefully better tomorrow. Went to shops to collect something & decided as we were out anyhow to do the necessary shopping so did 2 more shops, but used a £5 voucher for Lidl. Have to get a move on, as we go away on Tuesday and need to be ready..

VALUES Differentiate between needs and wants. Only bought items that I thought we needed, & stuff for DD when we are away.

ENJOY yourself. Went out for Sunday lunch which was very nice & huge...they gave us the leftovers to bring home. Not just us, but every table. Local business so need to support them.

MAKE an inventory of the food in your cupboards, fridge and freezer at the start of the month. Also must do this but am away for 2 weeks in the middle of the month. Only food bought for DD & animals.

BUDGETS should be set before the start of the month. Start PADs tonight.

EXERCISE 4 times a week, 20 minutes a day. Outside with beasts & a washing line full as still fine weather.

RULES Turtle rules can be difficult at first. Following the plan

IN case of emergency Add any items you might need Got some supplies today & now have a toilet roll & painkiller mountain, hopefully won't need both at the same time..

NOW is always the right time to start. Pretty much healthy snacks with half a Fat Rascal for pudding..

NO takeaways, No takeaways today.

EVERYONE Am DF but always could do with more savings towards experiences or holidays. Have some funds I need to pay back to business account, also for items bought in last spending spree... so need to account for those items by December 31. Pending.

EXTRA Have a ton of stuff that needs to be sold. Will deal with when back from hols. On back burner.

WINTER Front door looks good in its new weatherproof coat and should be good for 10 years according to paint tin. Still need to do a little bit of filling & another coat, but pretty pleased with the result.

YOU should cook from scratch Ate out today but do have enough for a couple of further meals that we brought home.

OUTSIDE Does walking to the restaurant count?
REPORT regularly I'm here.

KINDNESS Got a few ys bargains for DD when in marks & spencers, took them round when we went to pick her up for the meal, it's 3 mins from her house.

Go Turtles !!!!

It's easy to judge.
It's more difficult to understand.
Understanding requires compassion, patience and a willingness to believe that good hearts sometimes choose poor methods.
Through judging, we seperate.
Through understanding, we grow.

Even now, as broken as you may feel, you are still so strong. There's something to be said for how you hold yourself together and keep moving, even though you feel like shattering. Don't stop. This is your healing. It doesn't have to be pretty or graceful. You just have to keep going.

Cranky Eat an Apple with Peanut Butter for your sugar and energy levels to stay stable for a long time.
Anxious Eat Salmon for omega3 fatty acids. It may help tame your anxiety.
Angry Consider a cup of Green Tea if you need to calm down quickly
PMS Go Carbs. Eat some Egg Salad Sandwiches. Carbs will help your body boost its seratonin levels.

Good morning, usual weekend absence due to lack of internet or time.

Picked up the Asda order on Friday, spend a few more pounds at the greengrocers for Saturday's steak pie dinner at FIL's and the chemist (plasters, kids shampoo). That's my budget spent for the week. But I shouldn't need anything else till the next shop on Friday.

So that's £86 spend and NSD number 3 today.

I took out the £29 for our Christmas lunch today but that comes from the Christmas savings. I'll update my numbers now

Good morning Turtles

Happy Birthday Chocolate Lover, MotherNerd please take care xx

NSD- number 4. Aiming for 8 by the end of this week.
Organise time- I was planning to get up early but being up all night with a screaming toddler put paid to that.
Enjoy- printed out a free activity with the kids to do tonight, went cap in hand to nursery for some split pins to save me buying any as I only needed 2. This is also my "get outside"as we went to the woods to collect pine cones yestersay for this project. so much fun & good for the soul to be kicking leaves with my boys.

Values/budgets/extra- I got £100 back from my friend after I finally chased them up from 2 years ago, another 50 is coming next pay day. This is all going on car over payments. I just need to wait until my Tax Free Childcare compo has clearned as I dont want to leave us short of it doesn't (I was going to over pay 200 but I will make it 300 now). £156 left in our budget. I also have a voucher from work on its way. This will go towards Xmas food from m&s. A good day for extra money.

Make & no take aways - home made soup for lunch. Fajitas for tea to use up the salad.

Rules & now- sticking to the rules & eating healthy still.:A
Kindness-- made hub a coffee & took it up to him this morning.

Feeling pretty good today, I have worried about asking for this cash back for a long time now & I am glad its finally sorted. As soon as my other money clears I will phone my car finance people! :j

Afternoon Turtles

Happy Birthday, Chocolate Lover. Mothernerd, Hope you're feeling better. You are such an inspiration. I really don't know how you manage to do so much and so much of it for other people.

NSD 5/15 AFD No 5 - The upside of not going out is not spending money.

I am feeling so much better today but Himself is still struggling. I think he has a chest infection but, just like a man, he's refusing to go to the doctor. He says it'll go away on its own - we'll see.

So, I'm starting to get back into the swing of things. Did washing and ironing, changed bedding, made stock and a huge pot of ministrone soup and did a lot of other little bits and pieces. I even wrapped some Christmas presents. Planning to start a proper clean and clear out. Two kitchen cupboards earmarked for tomorrow. One of them is full of jars and bottles containing goodness knows what.

I haven't done a meal plan yet as Himself is still not eating properly but I must tidy out the freezers so I can see exactly what is in there.

Hoping to have another early night fireworks permitting.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

ORGANISE your time. work today but I was up at crack of dawn for some bizarre reason so did some housework to save time at night.
VALUES Differentiate between needs and wants – nothing today
ENJOY yourself. We were supposed to be going to a firework display but ds2 has a cold and I don’t think taking him out in the cold damp air is a good idea
MAKE an inventory of the food in your cupboards, fridge and freezer at the start of the month. Plan your meals around what you have, make your shopping list up from the ingredients you need to go with them. - Not done a full inventory yet but will do.
BUDGETS should be set before the start of the month - Food, travel, socialising, personal. updated s/s with todays Direct Debits
EXERCISE 4 times a week, 20 minutes a day. 65 active minutes so far today.
RULES The more rules you can follow, the more you will save/ have for debt reduction. – fingers crossed

IN case of emergency Add any items you might need (torch, shovel for snow, old carpet for traction, extra coat or blanket) to your car boot. DH still to do this
Stock up with generic painkillers, cold and flu meds - just as effective as the expensive ones (MSE tested). to do
NOW is always the right time to start. no alcohol last night as it’s a school night none tonight either 😊

NO takeaways, coffee shops, vending machines, canteens unless for a special event. none today.
EVERYONE should know their debt free date. Not got a debt free date apart from Mortgage so will go for my savings date instead which will be 2021/2.
WINTER proof your home, if you haven't already done so. Electric and gas switch underway as contract due to end so although not winter proofing hopefully saving some money.

YOU should cook from scratch when you can. Bran flakes and omelette for breakfast, homemade soup and sandwich for lunch, homemade goulash and rice for dinner.
OUTSIDE It may be cold but wrap up warm and make the most of the available light. Walked to and from school.
REPORT regularly (daily is best) here
KINDNESS costs nothing okay doke
