Hmm so having a mooch about on Facebook today and it appears that someone I thought was my friend (ex-colleague) has unfriended me, guessing that she hasn't liked my recent posts. Oh well! She always was a bit of a strange one.
I keep looking at my pots spreadsheet trying to figure out if there's a way I can magically increase my pots...I wish! Will just have to keep plodding as normal.
Not a lot to add, everything is going as per the norm. At least it's Wednesday, one step closer to the weekend.0 -
Afternoon,
So I have been thinking, which would be better to keep the CC overpayment pot and the Overdraft pot as they are OR merge the CC overpayment pot into the Overdraft pot and once there is sufficient in that pot, to then clear the Overdraft?
I could always wait until I hit my current EF target and then build up the OD pot?0 -
Ignore this one! I am over thinking things and will leave the pots as they are.
If I can increase the OD pot then I will put any spare cash into it.0 -
That's the trouble with a fixed income, it makes it hard to increase pots. All I can think of is surveys or selling stuff on ebay or similar. What about selling your tapestries once completed? Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Doesn't it just...DH's commission restarts with this new company so we will renew a lot of things that we are desperately in need of and I will add bits to the OD pot that way.
I'm not sure anyone would by my tapestries, I see a lot of completed ones on ebay.0 -
Good afternoon,
Had a very very drunken weekend, MiL's party was a good success. She loved the cake that DD made and she was made up with the tapestry that we got framed for her.
We had cottage pie for dinner last night and I brought some for lunch today.
Pay day for DH in two days, We will find out if old company will pay up or not, they have no reason not to be could prove to be difficult if they choose.
