  • Morning,

Apologies for being quiet, RL is quite hectic at the moment.

My mum messaged me yesterday to say that they won't be down to visit before Christmas and would post the presents....I am quietly relieved.

Busy weekend, we took the kids to Reading so that they could get their Christmas shopping done, managed to dye my hair and buy some bits for the Team Christmas do in Bristol next week.

DH's car is in for a service this week, I have money put aside to pay for it. Once Christmas is out of the way, I will use his car a bit more and save up for my service.

I applied for a job that's closer to home, hopefully something will come from it, but I won't hold my breath.

Brought my lunch with me today, baked potato and beans.

Wednesday is the client Christmas lunch so I don't need to bring anything with me for then. We are going to a carvery fairly local to site, so that should be good.

We are off to SiL's on Sunday to take presents down, next year we have decided will be the last time we buy for the younger nieces/nephews as we never get a thank you and our kids don't ever receive anything. I know Christmas isn't about presents but I am a bit annoyed that we don't even get so much as a thanks.
