Christmas prep is well erm....nearly sorted...I still have DS's bits to get but want to wait until at least the weekend and see if I can get his stuff cheaper (I know I'm tight :rotfl: )got me thinking that i cant wait for next year when i would of properly saved for it all
It took a good few years to get in to the routine but every pay day now, we have an SO set up so that money automatically gets sent to a bonus saver so that we do earn some interest on it. I class it as a bill too, so it does get paid.0 -
Curiosity got the better of me reading doingitanyway's diary as she was mentioning frogs....I did wonder if she had a collection of the little slimy creatures but no, upon looking it up I came across the following:
"Things you don’t want to do, but actually need to do.
Things you want to do and actually need to do.
Things you want to do, but actually don’t need to do.
Things you don’t want to do, and actually don’t need to do.
The frog is the Things you don’t want to do, but actually need to do."
I have a habit of procrastination......0 -

Morning and happy hump day
Checked the bank account this morning and DH got paid from the last company including the holiday pay he was owed. DH gets paid from new company tomorrow.
I feel now that we can draw a line under that saga and move on, I know DH has the angiogram coming up but I think the major worry has now gone.
Last of the bills have come out today, so I need to check and move money about.
My lovely colleague gave me some eggs this morning.
Brought my lunch with me today too.
DS has presentation night at Cadets, so that plus running around after DD as she is at Guides, it is going to be a mega busy night (always is generally on a Wednesday!).
I need to wrap and send my lovely friend his birthday present, it is his birthday on Sunday so want to ensure it gets there ok.
I need to sort out what we have coming up this weekend too. Once this weekend is over, it all systems go to Christmas and December is going to be excessively busy for us this year!0 -
Payments made and debt has gone down again
The Lloyds will be under £8K and the BC will be at £4K next month.
I won't hit my target this year but I will be close0 -
Just caught up on your diary, glad things are going well for you. Sounds like your OH is so much happier in his new job
Can't believe it's almost December!

So glad the old company paid up, at least that's one battle you don't need to fight0
