Morning. Quick log on before work to report -1lb loss this week. Happy with that given my minor collision with the low GI cob loaf last weekend. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Well done PiB and Sary on your losses! Love the 'minor collision'
GTQ - sounds like things are manic but the will is strong - keep going!
Bubbs I used to use unflavoured fat free fromage frais a lot with a beaten egg for a free carbonara. Can't seem to get it any more in my local supermarkets though so haven't had it for ages I found it froze well in small portions (it separated slightly but would beat together fine).Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Well done on the losses PIB and Sary. Jumped on the scales this morning and not looking good - looks like I might have gone out of target again - no idea why as have been much better this week with the Syns, only over on one day and every other day under syns, definitely haven't used the full amount this week. Oh well, will see tomorrow at WI. Assume I get another grace week as I was back in target last week?
I ended up making a chicken dhansak yesterday with the LO chicken and made 6 portions, so 3 meals in the freezer for a later date.
Today's plan:
B - beans on toast - F, HEB
L - eggs, bubble & squeak (using LO potatoes & cabbage from last night); mushrooms - P; F; S
D - Teriyaki pork tenderloin, rice & stir fry veg - P; F; S
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - Purple One 2.5; few Maltesters 3.5

More losses! Well done sary and PIB.:T
Those are amazing bargains bubbs. Is it a national chain where you shop? I'm lucky around here if I get occasional 50% off bits in Sainsbury's. Anything less than that then I'm better off paying full price in Aldi.
That horrible bloating is back so I'm feeling really fat:(. I'm dithering about going to WI tomorrow but probably will go and face the music. I know I've stuck to plan 100% this week and last week but can't feel any improvement.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porage, HEA1 milk
L: LO casserole (F,S)
Syns: 0
SW Bolognese (P,S) with tagliatelle (F), HEA2 Parmesan0 -
Maman I feel much the same this week. Having mainly stuck to plan and certainly only the one day where I went over syns but still less than most weekends! I'm sure you'll find things are nowhere near as bad as you think - it's often that way!
Just realised my dinner is also going to have a few syns in it but only a couple for some brown sugar and cornflour. This is a new recipe for me so will report back tomorrow to let you all know what it was like. It's a recipe that can be done in a pressure cooker or a slow cooker, although no reason why it couldn't be done in the oven but would need to work out how long to cook it - I would guess 1.5-2 hours probably, although only about 15-20 minutes in the pressure cooker. The rice will take longer to cook as I use brown rice which takes 25-30 minutes!
The eggs, bubble, mushrooms and tomatoes was lovely for lunch, really enjoyed it.

Hi. Another one feeling all bloated and chubby here. No reason for me to feel like that as I’ve been as good as gold.
Today’s menu
He a bob milk
He a
He b
B banana
L pasta salad (1) for olives, kvarg raspberry quark (0.5)
D orange chicken (from PON book) broccoli and rice
Snacks Hex cheese and crackers, satsuma, maybe a hifi bar0 -
I'm the opposite, I feel very slim but when I look in the mirror I'm the same as ever!
Just popping back on with today's menu (it's not the best):
B - none
D - Pasta, tinned toms, mushrooms, onion, bacon, sweetcorn
T - Mug Shot (2)
HEA - Milk
HEB - Almonds
Syns - Sugar in coffee (4), Mug Shot (2), hot chocolate (2) = 8
Can't have a proper tea tonight as it's run club followed by committee meeting. I can't eat before running, and won't get home til 9.30 and certainly don't want to eat a meal then, so I'll have a quick Mug Shot after my run, before the meeting.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
FYI just back from Tesco. They now have the Muller Lights :money: on offer 12 for £3. Plus the Corn Thins are (still?) half price at 65p/pack, you can have 5 as your HEb.
