www.zionic.co.uk - they sell DIY PC kits (ie, all the parts and instructions you need, you just build it yourself). If you email or post them a copy of something that proves your a student (enrolment letter, student/nus card etc) after you register then you get access to their student prices. theres a link somewhere saying about it, cant remember where0

at McDonalds you can also get a Big Mac or McChicken sandwich with medium fries for £1.99- but this offer is for NUS Extra cardholders only, unlike the free McFlurry etc. offer which is available to all students.0

Above is a link to the national (I think...) discounts that the NUS Extra card gets you0 -
Dorothy Perkins have a 10% or 15% discount for students. (It used to be 15%, not sure which it is now, but it's still there!)
