Just correcting what i posted about arcadia stopping the student discount. It is only EVANS stores that have now stopped it, not all arcadia. I was under the impression that it was them all !

I'm in need of SCHUH online student discount code- it won't let me do it, cos mine is out of date (last academic year) but i'm not going up to Uni (so won't have a new student card) until october! :-( Help!

I recently got a leaflet type thing from the RSC (Royal Shakespeare Company) basically saying that anyone aged 16-25 (so not strictly students, but still..) can get tickets for their performances for just £5, and given that they can normally cost anything up to £42 depending on where you sit, etc. this can't be bad..

My university has decided to pull out from NUS :mad:. Is there any way of getting an NUS card still or am I no longer able to get any student discounts?

Go to studentbeans.com for exclusive student discounts and there's a whole message board not too dissimilar to this- more sharing=more saving! you don't need an NUS number to register, just tell them what institution you're from, free to register
