    Hope so SW :)

I have also redeemed my rewards earned so far £48.93 which should hit my account in 5 working days just before the account closes. I also have another £8 of rewards pending and will try and claim them before the account closes but I'm not sure if they will clear in time or if I lose them if the account closes. That will also go into the xmas fund.

Am so glad its the weekend ! Its wet and windy outside, hopefully brightening up later this afternoon.

We have run out of milk so I decided to give DS's almond milk a try. Its ok in cereal, and not too bad in tea but I don't think I will be using it regularly, I will stick to semi-skimmed.

I had a text from the Halifax and my switch is in progress :j and my old bank have text me too to confirm the switch will go through on 17th.

I took back the boots to shoe zone yesterday and a refund is on its way to my 0% credit card. I also collected the last parcel from asda and will try the clothes on today. Whilst I was there I got some cereal £2.50, an 8 pack of diet coke £2.50 and a new bath mat £5 using the shopping/grocery budget.

We had aldi ribs, oven chips and sweetcorn last night instead of a takeaway. DS is out today and tomorrow. I am going to make some soup and put a stew in the slow cooker.

Hooray for the weekend too. We have bad weather too so I might stay in.

I drink it occasionally but if I could I would drink dairy, there is no contest at all between them in terms of taste. lol.

Well done on sorting out shoes and the meal. Glad the Halifax is all going through. Have a good day.

I have spent most of the weekend cleaning and washing in between puppy walks. I am exhausted.

3 loads of washing done today and mostly dried outside, ironed & put away. Last few bits, mainly jeans, are finishing on airers. Its been dry and windy but very cold. My new thermal waterproof coat has arrived from bay of e for collection at argos so I will go after work tomorrow to collect it. Hope it fits.

Have been to puppy class tonight and she behaved herself which was a bonus ! Feeling tired now, had some more slow cooker stew for dinner which was nice and warming as its very cold out there again tonight. The dog trainers have given us some techniques to stop her biting so will give them a go. Apparently she thinks we are puppies too and she thinks she is playing !

I picked up my brand new ebay coat from click and collect at argos and it is fab, thermal windproof and waterproof regatta for £19.99 bargain as cheapest I could find elsewhere was £37.99 :D I also popped into specsavers whilst I was in town and got replacement nose clips on my specs for free  Then I went to McD and had a MSE big mac and fries for £1.99. :)

Hooray for Big Mac and Fries. I want one!

Glad puppy was good. I hope the techniques work - the dog trainers sound great and so helpful.

It is soooo dark out there.

I am fed up of winter now !! Its dark, its cold and I cant get any washing done. It was a damp cold day with no wind. One puppy walk this evening. I made fajitas for tea.

I cancelled my dentist appointment this afternoon as I was feeling too tired and couldn't be bothered. I don't see why we need check ups every 6 months when there is usually nothing needs doing. I had a filling earlier this year which was the first treatment for years.

I have had more paperwork about my bank transfer and the £125 has been paid into my account :j I will wait until the transfer goes through on 17th and then pay that off my credit card.

I have had an email from uswitch to say I can now transfer my tariff penalty free - I will phone coop energy tomorrow and confirm. I've had a look at the cheapest tariffs on MSE energy saving club and I have never heard of some of the companies. I am not very brave so it looks like EON will be my choice with a similar price to what I pay now and £25 cashback. Hopefully I can sort that out tomorrow.

Coop energy confirmed I can switch to another provider without exit fees so I have applied to switch to EON through the MSE energy club with £25 cash back. I hope it goes through ok and is not affected by my new bank account only being open a few days.

I had leftover stew for lunch and 2 slices of corned beef from the freezer for dinner with peas, oven chips and gravy yum ! I got the puppy a new toy on the way home from work, a squeaky fabric burger lol, only £2 and she loves it. :D I walked her this afternoon, DS walked her this morning. Tomorrow I am only working 4 hours as we both start work at 6.30, so she will not be left home alone too long.

I also remembered to order a repeat prescription over the phone from the chemist and booked my car in for its MOT. Hope it passes.

Woke up due to low sugars. That sounds like a healthy meal. Good luck with Mot. Have a good day today.
