Morning all
Phew, just sat down! Done so far:
Leftovers from camping trip for breakfast
Load of washing on line
Another load in machine
Previous load folded and sorted
Put new mattress on bed (well, I helped OH do it!)
Wrestled old mattress down the stairs, and helped OH fold it in half and secure with a ratchet strap thingy. It is now gracing the lounge, as the tip isn't open till tomorrowOur lounge is luckily quite big, despite the fact we have too much furniture
so is ideal for wrangling king sized mattresses / folding tents
which is just as well! Anyway, it isn't in the way too much. It doesn't look very nice though
Now recovering with a cup of coffee!
Still to do:
House looks like a tip, so will need to start on thatTidied up a bit, OH hoovered round while I was at the shop
Peg out current load of washing and put in another Done, it started to rain, so it is still damp and second lot didn't go out
Need to wrap and post an ebay item Decided it can wait till tomorrow, now sold another item so 2 to do.
Need to take some items to sales unit Done
Pick raspberries Picked some, not all
Pick blueberries Not done
Pick veg for dinner Decided on carrots. I also have leeks, chard, spinach and beetroot ready, along with herbs, raspberries and the last few blueberries
Make a loaf in the BM Done
HM meals from what we have here Done, nothing spent today
Try and do some surveys at some point A few for onepoll and a couple for Prolific
Go to surgery to make flu jab appointment as it seems to be impossible to get through by phoneDone, also got one for OH as he is soon to be a 'proper' pensioner! (I get a free jab due to health conditions despite my relative youth :rotfl:)
The Mattress is now outside, getting wetThink of me wrestling it into the car tomorrow to go to the tip
Not sure how far I will get with that lot
I will start by putting the bread maker on!0 -
Morning folks.
I've been awake since 3.45am  no idea why as it's not like me. Feeling a bit sleepy now like... still decided just to lay in bed all calm and cozy until normal getting up time (apart from surfacing for a coffee at 5am)
Luckily it's my Friday!

Sending love foxgloves
Efficient start with paperwork, but must do my expenses sheet.
Working on a new project at the minute, hopefully it should come together today.
Did a main shop yesterday using a £4 money off voucher. Stocked up on cat food supplies, just need to get cat litter today and then I'm well stocked. Have the money in my purse ready so that I don't spend on anything else.
Just balancing my September grocery and other budgets. I've stuck to my target for the grocery challenge, even though it included a lot of food stuffs for DD and uni.
My aim for October is to set a lower target. I'm well stocked on cat food and foodstuffs for me, I've even got a little stash building for DD again.
Going to get some batch cooking on the go as in the evenings im very lazy and won't eat a proper meal-partly bec I have to get medical treatments done aswell. Going to try to be efficient and money saving!
Still got hold of my supermarket vouchers that I cashed out for 2 Christmas presents (which were very popular last year and are currently out of stock, as soon as they are back in, they're mine-and not a penny paid!!) and then im finished for Christmas. Just need to order the turkey and if I take monies up every month, I won't feel it in December. Determined to forward plan.
Have a great day everyone xDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Evening all!
I had another few hours of training today and I'm in for my first shift tomorrow. I'm quite excited but a bit nervous too. I popped in to see my mum on the way home again and nipped out to get her a couple of bits from the shop.
I've not done anything money making though I do have two bidders on an eBay item, hopefully they both really, really want it!
Some more craft supplies arrived but I am waiting on envelopes to be redelivered after they sent the wrong size, I need to drop the wrong ones to the Hermes shop to go back.
I put petrol in the car today and bought some hair ties to tie my hair back for work tomorrow. I dyed it last night (I love my grey streak but it doesn't look good tied back) and as usual it has gone way too dark. In my head I think I have dark brown hair but it's not as dark as I think it is (it is now!)Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -

Good luck today FVD I'm sure u will smash it:j
Have to get a letter completed first thing. Still need to do expenses sheet:o
Just about to start cat cleaning in a minute.
Nearly finished balancing my September spends, still doing good with my monthly targets.
New problems with missing kitty now home-she is going through separation anxiety as she lives and breathes my DD and is not coping well with DD now at uni. She refuses to come out from under DD bed and would starve if I wasn't crawling under to feed her. She is not happy at all:(
Need to pop out to do a few bits today that will involve no monies spent. Trying to conserve petrol aswell, I refuse to put any more in this month.
Some batch cooking planned for this afternoon. It's looking like it's going to be a nice day so washing will be going out.

Morning from a sparkly and sunny North West
DNMS - I hope you feel better soon.
Sitting with my coffee contemplating the day ahead. Am very sore so have decided not to go to the gym today. I have a PT session tomorrow so I want to be good to go for that! OH not very well (appears to have the bug that I came down with last week) so trying to persuade him to be sensible and not go.
Possibly may go into town today. There's a couple of things that I need that can only be got there. Doesn't really justify the parking, tunnel fees and diesel though. May see if OH has any ideas for *shhhh* Christmas present shopping.
Today's plan:- Meals from plan
- Plan meals for next week
- Washing on line as it's supposed to be nice - done
- See if OH might spend ten mins tidying in his room
- Windows open to air the house - done
- Post old printer cartridge to be recycled
- Epilate the leggies - done
- Book in at the beauticians for my pre-holiday mani and pedi. Ok, not MSE but def MHF (mental health friendly!). It's part of my pre-holiday wind down ritual.
- Decided to ignore student loans letter as I'm not likely to be making such large payments as I won't be doing overtime. Apparently they would require proof in order to lower the DD. (How can I prove that I'm not planning to do extra work?!!?) - done
- Crochet
Have a good one all

Poor kitty... would it help if your DD spoke to her on the phone? I know it sounds silly but my mum's cat appears to be quite fond of me (not sure why as we never lived in the house together and I don't visit that much).
When I call my mum, if she puts me on speakerphone, the cat runs in, chirps, and rubs all over the phone!
Maybe this would work for your kitty?LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310
