    Hi,
Am back home. Sad but ok. And guess what? There's been some money saving today:
*Grocery shopping came in on budget.
*Got 20% of my 2 Body Shop items using loyalty card. Wanted new moisturiser but can't afford the £26 this month (skincare is a bit of a weakness) so bought a £2.99 one in Superdrug to use until I can genuinely afford a treat.
*Bought Mum's Christmas present as found for £18 instead of £25.
*Ordered another present paid for with survey vouchers.
*Cat's fave food still £3.25 in Wilko's instead of RRP of £4.85
    *Knit for sales basket.
*Washing on timer for cheap overnight tariff.
*We agreed no heating until 1st Oct but it's still not cold enough.....in fact I haven't even got a cardi on today so still saving a few quid there.
Really hoping for a frugal month as I've had to have new glasses & the cost was eye-watering.
Love to all & thanks so much for all the kind messages since losing my Dad last weekend. They were appreciated.
    F xx

    Morning all :)
Grey, dull morning here, but at least it isn't raining, at the moment at least!
Been awol as we spent Friday night and all day yesterday with DD1 and her family, as it was OH's birthday and she wanted to give her Dad a treat :) He had a lovely time, driving through a particularly wet bit of Wales in one of son in law's tatty old sports cars, among other things :) Ate too much nice food /birthday cake so need to get back to our healthy eating plan! DD2 bought round ANOTHER lovely birthday cake. Little GD sang happy birthday and blew out the candles :rotfl:We all had a piece, and it was beautiful, HM black forest gateau - but it is huge, DD didn't want to take any back, so OH will take the rest of it along tomorrow to the community group he belongs to, and share it round when they have their cuppa :)

    So, today's plans:
Start a shopping list, may go later today All done
Unload camper van and put stuff away. It was dark and raining when we got back here last night, and I didn't want to be carrying bedding etc down a muddy bank in the dark  Not done :(
HM meals - thinking of doing macaroni and cauliflower cheese for dinner tonight :)Done, chucked some mushrooms in too, lovely comfort food :)
List some more things on ebay Not done :(
Check for surveys Will do shortly

Not a very ambitious list, but I am sure I will add to it as the day goes on!

La E just read that your OH is due to have an op this month. Hope all goes ok!

DawnW I hope the headache has settled, there is nothing worse

foxgloves lovely to see you posting, some great money saving. Look after urself x

DNMS/B] thank you for the kind words. I just worry about DD esp with suffering from chronic fatigue. She also has an extremely high metabolic rate and I know evenings are the worst for her with tiredness. So catered accommodation and a huge stash of snacks is suiting her well. She has got into a routine with her sports training but knows that she can't overdo things or it will make things a lot worse.

Managed to get some things done today. Cooked extra for a meal tomorrow only to find one of the cats nearly stealing my chicken. It was a close shave. Just touched up some paintwork-the curse of a wheelchair.
Prepared some bits that I've got to do first thing and then prepare for a meeting tomorrow night.
The heating came on today but it didnt stay on for long, I think first thing is the coldest but seems to warm up during the day.
Balanced my September spends. Lowered my target for October.
Made a list of the couple of presents I still have to get for Christmas but generally all sorted there. While i love Christmas, if not organised it really stresses me out.
Have a good evening everyone x

Managed everything on my list except emptying the bedside tables, don't end on fleabay until next Saturday so I have a bit of time. Managed 11 more things on fleabay :T

I also put a load of 'new to her' clothes out for smallest small. She was thrilled :D
Sorted out all their artwork and other keepsakes that were downstairs and put up in loft
Made a cake, crumble, tea, soup and a box of stewed apples and pears for the freezer and froze some lo crumble mix :A
And got DD to do her homework ;)

    Productive weekend all round.

    Evening all!

My headache got worse and I have been asleep nearly all day. I woke ravenous and nearly bought pizza but then cooked pie and mash with beans instead and there is enough left of everything for lunch tomorrow.

Three things sold on eBay while I was asleep and somebody messaged me about collecting a fourth tomorrow so at least by feeling ill I've made more than I've spent today!
