Morning :hello: washing out here too happy kitties. Other things:
Quiche out of freezer for small and DH lunch
Half a cake out of freezer for us
Make some fairy cakes to take to friends house later
See if I can get up to date with washing, 2 done, 2 small to go. All be drying outside as it's set fair today
Post letter I've been meaning to do for ages
Dig out proof of postage for most annoying fleabayer ever.
Something else from meat box for tea. We were treated to ribeye steak last night, used a tiny bit of blue cheese to make a blue cheese and mushroom sauce
List rest of meat box on freezer inventory and work out what I'm keeping out and put rest in freezer
May as well meal plan for next week and write shopping list for next week
Work from home, get lots done.
Walk with friend later for free exercise
Check btl mortgage to see if I can get a better deal
Enjoy your day folks.0 -
Thanks for the good wishes, all!
La E, I am beyond embarrassment but I know what you mean. A lot of mine were trendy shops and, if they were looking at me while I was doing it they must have been thinking 'you have NO chance of getting that job' but, pah, I don't want their job and I'm never going to see them again!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Morning all
Good luck for today FVD
Hope you feel better soon DNMS, I felt panicky and stressed for a couple of days, but settled down to normal now, no real reason for it!
HK, hope your kitty settles down soon
Been to market in next town this morning, bought veg and bread supplies, froze what needed it
Also been to tip with the dreaded mattress - it fitted in the car thank goodness - I moaned at OH for buying such a big one, but useful for disposing of dead king size mattresses I suppose :rotfl:
And pegged washing out on line
And took some ebay parcels to the post office :T
Could do with a lie down now :rotfl:especially as I didn't sleep well due to unfamiliar mattress!
Still to do:
Some paperwork for small biz
Make a cake promised for a charity event tomorrow
HM meals
List some more bits on ebay
Do some bits in the garden
Think about what we will need to take for weekend away
Check for surveys
Check banks
Hope everyone is having a good day0 -
Hope things are okay DNMS and Dawn now and the stressed feeling has settled.
Spent part of the day cleaning and sorting out bits from under DDs bed while I have been sorting out DD kitty.
Found her old Wii games and Wii from a few years ago. Started to compare prices of games to sell, I've sold £20 of games so far with a company where you can trade in, get a voucher or cash
Some are listed on Amaz@n.
Shocked when I was comparing the best way to sell them how things can really devalue over time as technology improves aswell. One game I remember my uncle buying for DD, it cost him £30, today I was offered a price of 30p. Going to try and sell on Amaz@n instead.had one game sell on there tonight and I made 50p extra than I would have done thru trading in.
Did some extra meals made to last another 2 days but no batch cooking done.
Letter finally completed.
Sat with DD kitty in the bedroom tonight. Just chatted away to my DD and a couple of times kitty did turn her head but basically shunned the phone. Will keep trying with this but kitty looks heartbroken.
Noticed that the wheelchair has scratched new paintwork-def a tomorrow job......this will bug me.
FVD hope your first shift was okay

Evening all!
First shift went okay, everyone is really nice and very friendly, there's lots to learn and it was hard work but the day flew by. My feet ache but not as much as I thought they would. There is a LOT of cleaning to be done as the hygiene standards are really high (deli), I should maybe have taken the easier option of being on the checkouts! It's a mixture of heaven and hell being surrounded by all my favourite foodstuffs but not being able to eat them!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Exciting about your new venture FVD! So.... I got a bit embarrassed when the people in the shop could see me but I'm over now I have a couple of quid in my wallet.
Verifying other ads is fun too - just like a game watching the star rating go up and down but getting points. Result! Got 3 just from a row of shops near work! Thanks for the tip off :T
It's team building day at work - free breakfast and lunch :T

Hey folks, I am quite a newbie posting in here, this week I have been tackling PDLs for irresponsible lending, I have also had a great week selling on facebook/eBay/gumtree lots of accumulated stuff we don't use/want/need. I have also been using up what is in the freezer which might not sound like a big deal but I have a small holding so in my freezer is my own home grown free range meat (and yet we buy stuff for convenience). One thing we have done this week which has helped me cope with the dark nights is bought the new Jamie Oliver book 5 ingredients (1/2 price in waterstones £13 instead of £26 :-D ) and cooked from scratch, left overs have been taken for lunch the next day or frozen.
I have just auto repaid Safety Net Credit this morning which only leaves me with Sunny as an outstanding PDL debt (£843) and a Cabot debt for a HSBC account (which I am currently looking at F&F).
I'm off to a horsey car boot sale tonight to sell a load of stuff I don't use anymore so fingers crossed for lots of buyers.0 -
