Hope you feel better soon DNMS. If it's anything like the bug I had last week, I slept for England and there was a bit of a headache thrown in aswell
Haven't been about because of the family op, unfortunately it didn't work and my niece ended up going to theatre 3 times in 48 hours. Talk about stressful.
Have been snagging a few NSD now DD is at uni. I hate shopping at the best of times and with DD not being here I've found that I really have cut down on those little shops.still trying to find my own shopping routine best for me
New vouchers sent through from Tesc@s this morning which will come in very handy for cat food.
Banking all checked first thing and cat cleaning all done.
Have a meeting to go to later.
Still need to fill in my expenses form.
Once I have completed this month's grocery challenge, now it is just me and the furbabies, my aim is to get my grocery spends reduced and some batch cooking done. Getting ready to start this October 1st.
That's about it from me.
Hope everyone is having a good Monday xxDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

DNMS - Thanks for starting us off today, hope you feel better soon
Hi to all of the regulars and a BIG welcome to all the newbies, this is a really FAB thread with so many lovely, caring, considerate and supportive people.
Really tired as had a few nights of disturbed sleep, weekend was a little stressful with family issues again but nothing that I can help or solve so just have to be there to pick up pieces. Also received some sad news from our lovely Foxgloves - her dad passed away yesterday evening (after a dramatic deterioration in his illness over the last few weeks) so she'll be off to stay with her mum and help with arrangements, she won't have internet access so will be missing on the "small things" for a while but she'll be back, I know I don't need to ask but please keep her and her family in your thoughts. Today we will:

It would appear that left to my own devices I get most of my work done after midnight but I've had a fairly productive day!
I got my eBay package weighted so I could list the correct postage.
Whilst in town I snapped a few more job ads, I'm now up to £18.38 with two more waiting for approval.
I went down for the YS run, I've not been for a while as they keep messing around with the times/procedures but I got it spot on tonight! I managed to get four chicken breasts, 2 packs of SFC fillet strips, 2 chicken pasta salads, a pot of tuna sandwich filler and a multipack of crisps for less than a fiver.
Time to try to get some sleep, night all!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

Hi gang
I really can't find anything that I take for a packed lunch today - lettuce, onion, half a green pepper... Guess I'll buy myself a trusted cheese and tomato sandwich for £1 and get over it...
Just having a quick coffee and then I'll get ready.
Reconciling YNAB at the min... Money, money, money
I used the gross to net pay calculator online https://www.thesalarycalculator.co.uk/ and saw that if I got rid of a £22 deduction from my pay (bupa for OH that we have never used and I think he can get it through his own work now) but then increased pension contributions, I could pay an additional £70+ into my pension for just £27 less take home pay. Tax code has also slightly changed. Seems like a no-brainer.
Tap class tonight - all paid up front so nothing to worry about there
Take care my lovelies0
