  • Morning all :hello: quick update whilst drinking coffee before I get on with my day. Today I will :

Cut cake in half and freeze - done
    Check banking, surveys and FPL
Packed lunch to work for me and DD
Made hot drink for commute with same kettle boil as my coffee
Big meat order due today from online butcher, should last a good few months, something from there for tea
Call opticians and make appointment for Thursday or Friday when I'll be at home to collect glasses
Can't knit tonight as my round needle isn't long enough, need to order another or pop to craft shop opposite opticians later in the week.

    Enjoy your day peeps.

    Morning All!

Everyone at work has gone to get a Costa & I'm sat here drinking my from home coffee!! Done a few surveys already this morning & checked my eBay listings - some of them are going to sell quite nicely!
Everyone has taken pack up today and the meat is defrosting for tea. Even hubby has been on board this morning!
I'm going to try and find this month's book club offering second hand as it's quite an old book. Wish me luck!

    Morning all :)
Back from camping trip yesterday, and have to wait in for our new mattress to be delivered today, or at least this morning till OH gets home! Must pack and post some ebay sales today, and must also post RM surveys items. Other than that:

    First dog walk done
Soup out of freezer for lunch, chicken for dinner Had leftovers from the weekend for lunch, so soup is there for another day.
Freeze 2 bowls of raspberries that I picked when we got back yesterday - I had some for breakfast, but loads left! Done
Dry gazebo/ camping shelter thing that we use alongside our camper van, sadly it was wet when we had to pack it away. Not sure how I will accomplish this, as it is damp and murky here today :(Done, sun came out, now packed away :)
Loads of washing - first lot in. Similar issue re drying it :(One load mostly dried :)
Put rest of camping stuff away for next time :)Getting there, though I understand we are off again for the weekend
Pack 4 ebay items, and chase 2 more buyers for payment Aargh, unable to find one of the (thankfully unpaid) items. Sent grovelling apology and cancelled the order :( 4 paid items now posted, and the fifth buyer has now paid.
Listed several more items, one has a bid already :)
Go into sales unit while out for post office, see what is needed there - actually doing it will have to wait for tomorrow though! Dome, some spaces where items have sold, so must sort out more things to take down there tomorrow :)
Buy bananas and yogurt while out, check nothing else needed Also bought cream and eggs, as I need to make a cake for charity coffee morning event on Friday
Another dog walk later OH did this
That should keep me busy for a while!

  • So far this week, every time I've been ready to buy something I didn't immediately need (but could technically afford to pay for) I have instead thrown it at debt.

It's easier than keeping a spending diary - just requires will power!

    Other small things:

    - Set up listings on Fivesquid
    - Spend as much time as possible on SwagBucks
    - Been honest about when I can't afford things - sometimes people help out! Even if it's buying you a sandwich at lunch, a pint after work or paying for a haircut, family and friends are great sometimes

Arc, I would have been giving them my, 'are you crazy?' lecture!

Late start for me again today but I'm loving having some daylight hours at home and then working in the evening when I can't get on with other stuff.

I've run out of 'big' tomatoes (I only grew cherry tomatoes) so it's looking like a tuna sandwich for lunch for me and I may roast and slice one of the chicken breasts for dinner tonight (I don't like a lot of meat so that's enough for DS and myself with him getting the lion's share.)

I've been keeping eBay stuff on the kitchen table but it's annoying me so it can all go into the (looking very clear!) garden store until it sells, hopefully this week.

I still have two job ads pending, I wish they'd hurry up and approve as I want to cash out.
    Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

    December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.10

£25 made today from eBay! Lots more finishing tomorrow & looks like I should get about the same again.
Waiting on some approvals on prolific & I'll be cashing out £10. Half way to a cash out on one pulse & £12 into the £40 threshold on one poll!

    * wear fave trousers & feel a million bucks :D
    * mil collecting madam from school and taking her to ballet :A
    * going for a meal with old boss and colleagues after work
    * text friend who I was supposed to be meeting for coffee this morning and rearrange - I forgot I was working today! :o
    * make pizza will be for tomorrow now - oh will have to fend for himself with madam :)
    * read martin's email
    * checked banking
    * write small shopping list for things needed for the rest of the week. Trying to make today the last spend day of the month :)
