My mum got her renewal on wed this week phoned the same day to renew, phoned yesterday afternoon (she is very impatient) and it was all done. Payments up by 10 pound per week. They did tell her not call until 5th June for an update when she renewed, but as I said she in impatient.

Lea28, I'd be too scared to call before the 4th June incase they shouted at me lol.

The guy who renewed mine over the phone was pretty adamant I should not attempt to call before the 4th June.

    Your mum is brave lol

Pink.....I was thinking exactly the same! I would probably get someone who would read me the riot act.

  • They guy i spoke to was fine he understood my concerns for getting an overpayment.

I think that mine must have been sent for checking and my friends as they are 2 or 3 weeks and not updated, i have all childcare invoices for 12 months and some utilty bills p60, but i dont have bank statements.

They send out all on the highest tax credit first apparently.

    QUOTE]

i dont think this is correct as my wife and I have an award which is higher than our Daughters (we claim for 2 children , Daughter only claims for 1)

To be honest i dont think their IS a system for generating the renewal packs. I hold the opinion that it is merely computer generated.

I know lol she doesn't care though. She obviously didn't have child care on hers but wtc, ctc, and the disability element. Last year she waited weeks and weeks for it to process. She had mixed figures up and gave In the wrong income. They called her to re check as it wasn't matching what they had on the system ( don't know if they compare with the income tax system) anyway it turned out she had missed something off so they just altered it on he system an it was done the next day.

I'm still waiting for my pack, it was on the 12 may I got mine last year an it was processed in 2days (forms dated he 15th that were sent out).
We don't get child care or wtc . I know I'm being over paid at the minute too.

I just wanted to Update with some good news.

My postman who is starting to deliver my mail later and later each day has just dropped a few envelopes through the door from the Tax Credits.

I'm shocked that it is infact my new award notice for this tax year. I only recieved my renewal forms on Tuesday and re-newed over the phone that morning.

It has my new payment schedule and the date my 'potential' payment will be in my bank, which turns out to be Monday. :j

As I bank with Barclays any money going into my account on Monday's is always available on the Saturday, so fingers crossed the lump sum should be there tomorrow.

Am so relieved as this means we can now hopefully move house and as we are away on holiday soon it couldn't have come at a better time.

No idea why I have recieved the forms before the payment as its usually the other way around, but I am happy.

My payment isn't what I thought it would be but anything is better than nothing.

I hope eveything gets sorted for you soon, have no idea why it was so quick for me, I have no childcare or wtc and I last updated eveything with them in March so maybe thats why its been quick.

I renewed 19th April, my payments have stayed the same, I've not had any paperwork? Anyone else in the same situation?
