Apologies as I've had migraines again so trying to avoid screens. Posting this and then back to do analogue tasks, so unlikely I'll be able to catch up with posts.
I have continued to very slowly clear down food cupboard and freezer stocks as well as continue working through the wardrobe wearing everything. I've also been looking into the bathroom drawer. I did reclutter with a lovely new to me cupboard from a charity shop to house my stash of puzzles… I seem to have 45 of them, so probably need to do a bit of a cull at some point!

Hope you feel better soon @QueenJess 💐
@Liverpool_Anne - I am enjoying hearing about your kitchen plans and think cupboards going up to the ceiling will be great. Hopefully less dusting! One day I will have a new kitchen but not for a long while.
Hugs @Florenceem
Thank you for all the comments about keeping tickets and maps from holidays. Some great ideas for making use of them rather than just keeping in a box, or recycling. I do have a laminator so I will try and put something creative together.
I have been juggling space and have removed a set of china and brought another into use. Once all washed up I will wrap and take it to the CS. This is all because I found some in the loft! There is definitely more up there as I used to collect it. I will be making decisions as I go until I just end up with my favourites. It’s going to be hard difficult.

Two more parts of the six part frog set in motion. Parts one and two of a three part frog completed. Another frog needs to be started today.

Hi all, a photo of the first flower in my garden this year
Despite the lovely sunny start to Saturday by the time I was coming home from the footy it was snowing while I stood in the bus queue 🤣.
Audiologist appointment went OK, thinks I would benefit from hearing aids but wants something checked out by ENT first so is sending another letter to the gp so now I have to wait as she said giving me hearing aids could make the problem worse! So I am stuck now but I will call the gp in a week or so to see what is happening. I had to change the batteries in the central heating timer as I noticed it was coming on at odd times. Old batteries into the old battery box for taking to the tip next time I am passing. The bedroom bin emptied and 1LDFPA before I went to the footy.
Yesterday I cleared the fridge and did some batch cooking for the freezer, 4 portions of Spanish chicken, 7 portions of veg stew, 6 portions of Carrott and lentil soup and a big bowl of coleslaw to munch on. I also have a jug of gravy to be portioned up for the freezer. The lr bin was emptied twice as I was doing the veg prep on a tray while watching the Olympics 🤣. The kitchen recycling and the kitchen bin were emptied. The bird feeders were topped up and the kitchen worktop wiped down while various things were cooking 😁. A bottle of linctus I don't like emptied and the bottle washed and recycled. I was going to do some knitting but didn't get to it 😆.
Not yet caught up with the posts as I am on my phone so will just say hugs to anybody who wants one. Off to the hairdresser today as my head looks like a burst couch 🤣.
Just going to add numbers as I can't stop the post double spacing when I hit return so can't do a list. Apparently there is a way but it doesn't work on my phone or tablet annoyingly.
Take care everyone

Oops forgot to post last night 😬
Sunday, well after such a lovely, albeit cold day, yesterday the rain is back & it is grey & dark. The forecast high is 8°C (feeling 5° colder due to S wind), low of 3°C & more rain from 14:00. It has rained so much this morning that the bird feeder stand is in its own lake 😱 More rain during the afternoon & evening. More knitting, napping & watching the Olympics. There must be something in the Italian water as GB won 2 more gold medals 🤩 I used up the last of the bolognaise sauce with rigatoni for our dinner. DSis washed up whilst I dried up & put away.

weenancy, what a great use of maps 👏
Florenceem, it would appear that yesterday’s weather was an aberration 😞 2Scratters, sounds like you had a lovely Saturday ☺️ A busy Sunday morning & I am wagging my finger to join your DH’s disapproving look 😉 Hopefully you can help your friend find a silver lining to the ‘new kitchen debacle’ 🤞🙏 Good luck filling your general waste bin 🍀
London_1, you have had another busy week 👏 Lovely news about DGD Holly’s engagement- congratulations to her & her young man 🥹 Hopefully DGS Jack can get the jigsaw finished & DGS Ben can help get the planting started unless it is too wet 🤞Well done on decluttering a bag of wool 👏
Floss, nothing wrong with recluttering with useful items ☺️ especially when you decluttered so much last week 👏 Hope you have a lovely holiday ☺️
DundeeDoll, fingers crossed that the wire wool & olbas oil do the trick & keep the mouse away 🤞
oceandreamer, excellent work decluttering under the sink 👏 I know that I need to do the same, as like you I tend to avoid housework so have various unused (and will probably never use 😉) products ☹️
Sleep tight 😴

Monday is reminiscent of Saturday. Rained overnight but is currently (11:00) a bright day with some blue sky & sunshine. A forecast high of 8°C (feeling 6° colder due to a stiff W wind) & low of 5°C. Fingers crossed it doesn’t rain 🤞I am watching the Men’s slalom (recorded earlier) & there are 3 British competitors - the weather there is almost blizzard like conditions 🥶 ❄️ & only 2/3rds of the 30 competitors who have raced so far have made it to the bottom of the course 😧 It has also clouded over here & the sun is now in hiding 😶🌫️ I will catch up with the cheerleading & then see if there is some small decluttering task I can tackle whilst still watching the Olympics 😉😉
Florenceem, such a shame that the officer seems to have lost his way 😔 Although I am relieved to hear that you are enjoying attending services with your best friend 🥹 Great work sorting out the office cupboard 👏 Your grandson J is a wonderful young man & definitely deserves a lunch 😉
Sorry to hear about the migraines QueenJess 😔 Hope you recover soon 🙏 Great work with both the physical decluttering & the using up 👏
Moorviews, sounds like a great plan for your holiday tickets & maps 😊 Excellent work decluttering a set of china 👏 & good luck with the rest of it 🍀 Hopefully now that you have reached the decision to declutter other sets it won’t be as hard as you envisage 🙏
Great work decluttering so many parts of frogs oceanspirit 👏 You are on a roll 😊
Liverpool_Anne, what a beautiful flower 😍 Sorry to hear that there is still no resolution to your hearing issues 😞 Although it does sound like the audiologist is very professional 😊 I was curious as to whether there is a version of the Hippocratic Oath for audiologists 🤔 & it seems that there is a code of ethics which includes “Do no harm” Hopefully your GP will get you a quick appointment with ENT 🤞 Excellent work cleaning & clearing the fridge & doing so much batch cooking 👏 Hoping that you can find enough space in the freezer 😉
Just watched the Men’s Speed Skating & now watching the 2 Man Bobsleigh. Very exciting 😊 I will finish knitting another hat whilst I am watching the Olympics. I hope everyone has as good a day as possible & manages to stay warm 🙏 See you later 👋

I have been very slow.
I have decluttered myself to Wales for a few days though!
September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x16 -
@Moorfields and others , would love to see what you end up doing with tickets and memorabilia.
Dropped off bag to cs adding a chopping board, matching coaster with other one and bag of textile recyling which they get some small sum of money for.
Still haven't booked holiday stuff which will be urgent. Dealt with part 38 ,( could be more but don't counting now) of the now multi decade frog :)
Also 2 x paperwork sorted which i think takes me to 195. Moved dd1's help to next week as frogs are priority and small things that I may sell putting in space I don't want everyday things to be in and will deal when redundancy actually happens. Likely to look for other work but not full-time.
Booked 2nd person to come round my dad's at the end of the week. DB has quotes from different people for part of the work but I'm asking if they can do all. Benefit hopefully as neither of us live near but depends if they're good and reliable.
Fridge repair person and heating engineer round tomorrow as wfh day.
The Olympics sounds v exciting but I have tried to keep away as otherwise I will be too distracted!

Hi chums well after all the heavy rain we now seem to be having pretty chilly weather at the moment.I went to the U3A Games afternoon and was glad I had my thicker coat on, and the wind was quite bitter when I came out.
DD picked my up from the bus staion at Ryde as when I got off the bus from Newport I asked the chap waiting for my bus home how long he had been waiting and he said 20 minutes and the bus was running very late.
Home and defrosted my bones now, and DD made me a very large cuppa :)
Today would have been my late husband and mine wedding anniversary, 62 years yet it had flown
I sadly lost him almost 23 years ago and it doesn't get better it just is a different life now :(
Eldest DD texted me this morning, and youngest whom I share a house with bought me some daffodils which was nice, as its a sign of spring hopefull arriving Bless them they never forget.
I decluttered two library books before going to the games afternoon, and this morning I decluttered some cash at Tescos, and got my two DGS who arrive on Wednesday some goodies.
Pancake Day tomoorow then Lent starts on Wednesday The boys always ask me what I am giving up as when they were growing up I'd say after I'd fed them piles of pancakes ( four strapping hollow-legged lads can eat an amazing amount of pancakes :) ) and often did.
"Well as I have spent time feeding you lot what will you give up :) " They used to do it and watch each other to see who would crack first :) :)
Mikey texted me from Uni just now and said his girlfriend is going to make him a pile tomorrow night She loves cooking and baking and is a jolly good cook.
Henry is on the train back home to Rochester from London and texted to see what I might give up about half an hour ago
Last year he gave up crisps which was hard as he adores them, but he did it, and his brother Ben gave up beer for Lent which also was hard as he enjoys a beer with his pals.
I'll have to see what young Jack will abstain from when he arrives on Wednesday for a few days :)
Tomorrow I shall be decluttering some tee shirts I think as I seem to have far too many in my wardrobe and some are looking decidely tatty and only fit for the rag bag :)
Right, DD is cooking a nice dinner tonight. I think its a rather nice cottage pie pie from the left over beef yesterday. She does a really nice one so I'm looking forward to it
Tomorrow I shall also make an apple crumble for the boys for dessert at Wednesday nights dinner. Picked up an extra large chicken from Tescos this morning, 2.5 kilos at £5.70 as they are on offer this week.a very good price and the boys will love a mid-week roast.
Onwards and upwards chums keep warm and dry
JackieO xx

Just had a quick glance through the last 6 pages Hugs to those that need them. Weather seems bad all over. We have been quite lucky up here (North west).
Have just realised why I don't have much to declutter. Moved to a different about 6 months ago. Before moving I did 2 car boot sales, a craft de-stash sale, lots of stuff on e-b*y, 2 boxes of books to a book buying site. lots of kitchen stuff to my daughter and a boot full of stuff to a charity shop.
Not counting kitchen rubbish, recycling, stuff in the compost bin or cat litter (sorry about that) as these have always gone out every day.
Been good about not buying things I don't need, mainly because there is not much space. Still have a lot of craft stuff to unload/use but I've lost my mojo :-(
ilovetea xx
