I got mine from an outdoors persuits/camping shop (can't remember which one) they're great, but a little bit more expensive than otherwise. If your legs are cold at night maybe a hot water bottle would be better though.0

When I visited Norway (inside the Arctic Circle) I was advised to wear lots of layers (I wore 5 layers of clothes) to keep warm.
Have you tried wearing tights under your thermal leggings? It's another layer to trap warm air and keep your legs warm.
I've heard that builders and policemen wear tights under their trousers in winter.;)

I had the same problem for ages and during a check up at my GP recently I was told I have chronic Anemia..you get colder alot easier than ther average person with it. Not saying you have that but never know.
Also...a heating pad might help. I use that myself when I am cold (or have cramps) and it does help.*If you like the advice I give...let me know by clicking the THANKS button*

I get thermals for my OH from Asda - they do long/short sleeved tops as well as long-johns and knee-length. He wears them throughout the winter and also when he's climbing/walking on holiday (in Scotland) in spring/autumn.0

try to get Army Surplus winter ones (they are not pretty but they are very warm) normally we pay £4 a pair or 3 for £100

I can't give you any advice on thermals, I'm afraid (I never wear them) but, if you find it really hard to get warm, it might be worth going to your GP for a quick check-up - there might just be a medical reason for your chilliness. (I'm only thinking that as my younger sister, like Nordictat, was diagnosed with anaemia a while ago, and has found it much easier to get warm since that's been sorted out.)
If there isn't anything wrong, then you can happily go back to your search knowing that a good pair of thermals really is all that's needed.Back after a very long break!0 -
Layers. Woolly tights-even ordinary tights help.
If your lap is cold, have you considered adopting a rescue cat?import this0 -
Have to agree with the guys above - there may be some other reason you're getting cold, besides the clothing...it's not exactly cold yet, so you shouldn't be feeling that cold.
If you do just need more warmth, though, I wear the Helly Hanson "warm" baselayers when it's really cold and I wanna play golf or something outside - they really keep the chill out.0 -
Hi Kitty
I have Raynards and have the same problems as you. I have a microwave bunny that heats up, an electric foot warmer and a heated blanket throw.
Layers I find work the best.

KittyBoo I use yoga pants when it gets colder, they are warmer than the M&S ones. The M&S ones are for 'mid-season' :-)
So in winter it is yoga leggings, and knee-high woolly socks over them, then my jeans. My winter jeans are a size bigger than the summer ones to accommodate this!"Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0
