Cidergirl - how did you find out that boots had cancelled your card and taken all your points??- did they call you/write a letter/email?? - or did they just stop it without letting you know??

Did this happen to you today?

I FOUND OUT ON SATURDAY WHILE ON HOLIDAY I WENT TO SPEND MY POINTYS ON A SHAVER AND THEY SAID IT WAS invalid the manager phoned up advantage card and they told him they had issues and they had sent me a letter which i havent received . got home today and phoned them and was told this excuse ive checked my profile and i am not joined to parenting club according to that

Yes i would too they can't do that to you but 1st try contacting them and demand a investigation don't listen to the ones who are saying it your own fault and i can't believe that just because you don't post very often (i don't either) that you don't have the right to come on here and ask for advice that is what this site is about. There are far too many people on here that have are doing far worse than what you have done.

surely if your card was being used it would have flagged something up on the system?

Also taking things back with/without reciepts wouldn't look too good in the store you mentionned earlier and they may also want there points back for those items, please bear that in mind - i'm not having a go or owt

and yes pash i let my accent get in the way whilst in mid flow, i forgot how to spell honest and the last one was pinion lolol

thanks hun i didnt think what she said was nice either just because i dont have time to post often on here with 5 kids one whos autistic and adhd thanks for ur support

Hope someone can help - is it possible to ask an SA in store to order me a set of GHDs/or anything from .com- to be delivered to the store and then I could pay with points??

-also can I spend points on stamps??

cidergirl, i was NOT having a dig earlier but as you are a keen collector of both tesco and boots points, you quieried it with yourself after the first incident, I was only pointing out that maybe you should have spend points knowing they might check up if you had a jobsworth cashier - same as you would be careful in tesco!

I'm all for the points and glitches and share with all when i find them and i must say i've not done too bad over the last couple of months!! Better than the last couple of years :rotfl:

thats exactly it they can have the points back as i havent got them now thye wont give them back to me so im trying to recoup by taking back some of the items memory cards i bought and photo frames wouldnt u ?
