cidergirl, thats really awful for you. Have to say i got a bit twitchy when i had nearly £200 on my card and couldn't buy what i wanted in store. I was struggling so i bought stuff to ebay ( ) to recoup my money IYSWIM and got what i wanted elsewhere. I now only have 1400 points on my card and sleep easier in my bed :D

Has anyone ever took back a mascara?
I bought a L'Oreal mascara worth £9 because it says on the box that it's special for sensitive eyes. Of course when I tryed it my eyes become red and itchy (and they are not so sensitive, I use No 7 and it's ok)
Went back to the store and the SA was really mean: "you have to decide what you buy... not come back with beauty products, we don't to refunds or exchange on cosmetics." I understood that's the policy... but could it be said a little nicer... like sorry, but we are not allowe to refund... and so on.... Anyway it was a special situation, I haven't just got back to exchange something becuse I changed my mind, it was the product that wasn't what the box said.

    I've been on a bootsing marathon today.:D

    1st stop: Oxford city centre

2x med mum-to-be bath milk, free with PC voucher
2x expert baby bottom balm, 50p after 1x PC voucher
+ some mini mode things reduced (ACM 10% off voucher didn't work the sale items, worth a try though. :o)
+ model me shampoo with till spit and 250pts
    Total spent: £11.88, saving £22.96, points 394

    2nd stop: Cowley Rd
    Huggies newborn kit £2.50
2x baby expert dry skin oil - free with 1x PC voucher
    Botanics moisturiser £1.25
Time delay hand cream £1.25 + 200 pts
    Total spent: £5, saving £8.48, points 212

(I think that was the last hand cream, but they had lots of microdermabrasion sets for £2, and some other stuff over £2, all in basket by counter)

    3rd stop: Cowley centre
    Zinc+castor oil cream £2.09
    2x med mum-to-be sets free!
    Total spent: £2.09, saving £19.98, points 152
    + earned till spit
    SA went "that's.... er.... £2.09??"
    Me: "ooh, lovely, thankyou. :D"

Looking at the points for the last transaction, I think I qualified for the triple points on baby spend even though I spent less than £20 after the PC vouchers.

I hope this baby is going to be very pooey and dirty because I've got enough toiletries and nappies to sink a ship thanks to Mr B and Mr T.

Yes you just log in to the site and uncheck the parenting club box. I assume it automatically does it once your child is older then 2 years.

hi i have been collecting points for years and had over 500.00 on my card they have now withdrawn it and took all my points off me i rang them and they said 3 people at my addy joined the parenting club and they didnt join it at all. and they will not give me my points any advice please im gutted been saving for years why oh why didnt i spend them before .

So sorry to hear that! It's frightening to hear about points being revoked, too! Since they said three people were in PC and they weren't, I would call back and fight it. I mean, 500 pounds is worth fighting for. Then if you get the points back, I'd go right out and buy digital cameras or expensive straighteners or iPods (if you're near one of the few stores that stock them). You can keep these, sell them on eBay or save for Christmas. Then I'd either give up Bootsing, or never save more than 10 quid in points!

I generally spend points when I hit 15 or 20 pounds (except the time I saved for a camera); now I'm at nearly 60 pounds and feel nervous -- there's nothing I need right now to blow them on! I would like a couple of Elizabeth Arden things, but I want to wait for a bonus gift time. Hmm, maybe I will just blow some after all, then stop working so hard to get them.

I dont think I will ever be nervous about having too many points:rotfl: . Whenever I get about £20.00 in points,I cant wait to go and spend them on Soap and Glory.

    Im a hopeless Bootser :o
