I went to take some items back today as I decided I should have put the money to better use on other stuff (still from Boots of course!). The SA told me I now need EITHER the receipt or my advantage card to adjust the points - they would otherwise only offer a refund if I came back with one or the other. I "found" the receipt but said no advantage card with me - she said my points will now be adjusted next time I use it.

So is this a new policy - no refund without receipt or card? I didn't mind - as if that's how the system works - ok - but surely there must be people without a card and have lost the receipt??

Write to them explaining that no one has joined the Parenting club, send it recorded. I'm pretty sure they're not actually allowed to take your points in that scenario anyway unless they have a pretty high level of certainty that you've been defrauding them in some way?

yes i think i will they said its in the terms and conditions that only one person can sign up a baby ?? but we havent signed up a a baby or received anything in the post about baby club either .. i think they dont like us earning them

hi i have been collecting points for years and had over 500.00 on my card they have now withdrawn it and took all my points off me i rang them and they said 3 people at my addy joined the parenting club and they didnt join it at all. and they will not give me my points any advice please im gutted been saving for years why oh why didnt i spend them before .

I would write to them and ask for details in writing of names and dates etc - perhaps previous residents have joined the parenting club and not amended their address on their cards? Does sound all too familiar of the Tesco man who lost all his points... too many points sometimes attract attention.

this was your previous post on the 1-2-2008

i went into my local today to look for sale stuff nowt left anyway i bought a soltan item with a parenting voucher i had been given but it didnt work anyway the assistant was snotty with me as she knows who i am .said it was fraud to use this voucher if it wasnt mine anyway she went with my receipt to ask the manager why it didnt go through and was gone for ages they rang the advantage card to check any way they said i needed to buy a larger product so i didnt bother with it .but im now worried that im going to lose my points or something is going to happen just got a bad feeling that ive been alerted to head office am i being paranid??

maybe if you knew using vouchers without your name on was wrong why carry on? and why not spend them points before?? You got worried before but didn't spend them? You rarely post here and have been using PC vouchers for quite a while, As you are also a tesco couponer you may well have to admit defeat and start over. IMHO

oohhhhhhhhh noooooooooo £500.00 of points gone.

Im so sorry to hear that.Perhaps some of the more experienced Bootsers will have some advice on how to get them back.

Edit.............................. I have been on MSE since Nov 07 and I have just realised, this week that PC stands for Parenting Club and not secret computer vouchers some Bootsers were getting, and not me LOL.They sound pretty good , but not worth getting pregnant for LOL.
I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A

    Hi,
Any one have a spare voucher of med pregnancy set? I got a pregnant friend who is due this December, and this will be a nice gift for her. I have a £5 off No 7 or Ruby Millie wys £20 voucher, if anybody wants to swap with this.

    TIA
