    Got the following today :

    Med Nourishing Minis x 2 £19.98
    Organic baby cereal £1.79
    TS Moisturising conditioner £4.49
TS Long hair curl serum £6.99
    Tea tree face mask £0.99
    TD hand lotion £1.25

and 3 x Nivea young wash gels @£1.17 each

    Used the following :

500 pts WYS £10 on baby
    100 pts WYB tea tree
    100 pts TS
Got triple points for spending over £20 on baby (80pts)
    BOGOF med
    200 pts WYB TD
    1/2 price baby cereal
    200 WYB TS

Total £9.13 Points received 1144 (although the 200 TS had to be added manually)

    Total saving £22.88

Also noticed that the bottom of the receipt says "promotion total £22.98". Not quite sure what that means - I thought it might be for the 500 baby points but baby stuf adds up to £21.77.

I worked out that the total cost for all those items was £40.25 (and that excludes the original cost of the TD and Nivea stuff cos I don't know how much they were to begin with).

I cant wait until the Christmas catalogue comes out, :rotfl: :rotfl: Is that sad???

It is usually out on my birthday (October) so 3 month to wait! !!

I always look forward to this catalogue, too - but will any of us actually NEED to do any Christmas shopping this year - won't all our family and friends already be sorted from the contents of our mighty Boots stashes......;)

    Hi Claire,

My store was selling the sets at 75% off and had them in stock when I took mine back.
Maybe worth a phonecall to the branch explaining that you have bought 5 sets and have now seen them at 75% off elsewhere and asking what their refund/rebuying policy would be. You have nothing to lose afterall and the difference in price adds up to a fair amount, especially with 5 sets!

As for Christmas, I have already got presents for all of the girls who I buy for! Guess we'll be eagerly awaiting the Christmas catalogue to pick out what we want from the sale in January :rotfl:

Hi, Tiara, thanks for your helpful post. The giftset I bought wasn't the one on line - it had a 30ml perfume, a 15ml perfume (I think - sort of "handbag sized"), a 100 ml body lotion and a rather odd, square cosmetic purse. I decided to be brave and took it back yesterday, and there was no problem with a refund, which I was very relieved about as the store I took it back to didn't have an Elizabeth Arden counter. However, I then saw exactly the same set in Debenhams marked as £18, with no mention of it being reduced, so i don't know where my SA's original price of £40 came from - cunning marketing perhaps.... (naughty!)

Haven't seen any perfume sets left in the two Boots I went to at the weekend, so really well done with your 75% off bargains (definitely worth a few embarrassing moments taking them back, so well done for being brave!), hope you enjoy them. Can I just ask, when you took them back, did that store still have perfume sets reduced, or did you just take them back, the till gave a reduced price when scanned but you had your receipt so got the full refund and then re-bought at the 75% off till price? Hope that makes sense - I know what I'm trying to ask!!.... I have 5 perfume sets, all bought at 50% off, and I hadn't thought of taking them back and rebuying them, as there was no stock left where I looked. Advice gratefully received, TIA!

Blimey, it's absolutely P-ing down here - would have thought that after all the rain we had last night, the sky would have been "empty" now....lol!

Just went into Boots to get lunch on my points, and while I was there tried to use the Trevor Sorbie Long Hair coupon out the mag.
Picked up TS Long Hair Curly Shampoo and TS Moisturising & Defrizzing Conditioner.
First the SA told me I can't use any coupon when paying with points - is this correct? I know I can't get points when paying with points, and the £2 haircare tillspit says on it that you can't use it with points, but I couldn't see anything on this one.
So then she tried them as if I was paying cash, and the combination beeped! Can anyone see why this combo shouldn't work? Or was I just unlucky?
