  • thanks so much for this - my mum wanted one of these sets and there was no way i could afford full price... were they on the normal roc isle?? or in a clearance section - might be worth my while travelling into a bigger town to get her these. she will be so happy and what a great way of thanking her for taking us all on holiday :rotfl:

went to get one of these and they were both scanning at £31.99  no roc for my mum then
is this normal that the prices are different in different stores?

Just went into Boots to get lunch on my points, and while I was there tried to use the Trevor Sorbie Long Hair coupon out the mag.
Picked up TS Long Hair Curly Shampoo and TS Moisturising & Defrizzing Conditioner.
First the SA told me I can't use any coupon when paying with points - is this correct? I know I can't get points when paying with points, and the £2 haircare tillspit says on it that you can't use it with points, but I couldn't see anything on this one.
So then she tried them as if I was paying cash, and the combination beeped! Can anyone see why this combo shouldn't work? Or was I just unlucky?

Sorry, you can't use a coupon when paying with points. And it seems like the TS coupon only works with a few things -- I think you just grabbed one where it doesn't work (probably the TS Moisturising & Defrizzing Conditioner). Sorry you didn't get your deals, that is such a downer!

They had several sets left in Boots Bristol Cribbs Causeway on Saturday lunchtime (£2!!!) and they should now have one in the Gloucester Boots as I took it back yesterday (noticed after I got it home that the box was broken - yes, I know it was only £2 but it wold be no good as a present - and I very rarely buy stuff for little ol' me! Annoyed I didn't check it in the store on Sat tho' as there were plenty of others I could have picked up instead, doh!)
