Well babe, hang around on here and you could well end up meeting people from here. I did. And they are truly fab friends who have been and still are there for me. Honestly, just because we are at the other end of the comp makes us no less real. I went through most of the !!!!!! you went through. Still going through. I almost went down the slippery road of doing something silly with myself. I am so glad i found this place. And the friends i have now. what area are you from approx x x x xNight Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi hon I just wanted to say to you to please remember that nothing is ever nearly as bad as it seems when it is late at night and you have not been sleeping properly and you are sat on your own and it is dark outside but when the sun comes up in the morning I promise that you will feel a bit better. If I remember rightly you too are up in Scotland and the laws are a bit different here as are the debt charities but it will be totally worth contacting one of them to discuss your options. Remember though that your mortgage is your priority and the credit cards are not and you can only give them whatever you can afford no matter what they have to say about it. I defaulted on all of mine and ended up in a terrible mess but like everybody else will tell you there is not a mess out there that is not fixable even if it takes a very long time to get there.
Please always remember that there are a lot of people here who will give you lots of support and advice just remember not to be too proud to ask for it when you need it. Also please remember to get his name removed from your council tax so that you get your student exempt status back as soon as possible.

I've just been looking at my uni website. I'm going to make an appointment with their counselling service (they've had dealings with me in the past so may run at the prospect of seeing me again) and the finance people.Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

I am not too sure if these are the right people but I have included a link http://www.scottishdebtline.co.uk/about/aboutus.htm to who I think they are but I would really appreciate it if somebody more knowledgeable was able to check.Debt August 2007 - £38,204.58 - Completely Debt Free - May 2008 - Now Proudly Saving.DFW Nerd Number 684 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts:heartpuls Very Proud Aunty Ciara :heartpuls0
