I would get the police involved, whoever was posting on here for the company offering refunds if you email them would have an IP address which the police can trace so they will be able to find out where they are for you!!!

Does that include the ones that have already been waiting a month or more? If so then maybe we will start getting people reporting back that refunds have been received. Until then I think this thread still stands as a warning.

I'd like to be a generous person & believe what Xcite have posted here but If I were you I wouldn't be holding my breath.

I've had the same problem. My Mum used buy it now to book a holiday with excite, no holiday materialised. It was for her birhday as well, luckily I found her somewhere else to go, but it's a nasty thing to happen.

Annoyingly, ebay had had loads of complaints about xcite and still let them trade!
