Yes your right, for every transaction we did have an email from eBay but we didnt save them. We used eBays Seller Manager Pro as our base to keep all customers details etc, therefore when it got cancelled, we had no way to getting in touch with customers.
Either way, we are now asking everyone to email us with their details so we can ensure the refunds reach the right people as soon as possible.
Many Thanks.0 -
If people paid by paypal you can see the transactions in your paypal history, it goes back years0

our paypal was restricted at the same time as our eBay. We are not here to argue what we could have done differently etc, we are just wanting to refund the people who didnt get the chance to travel.
If you purchased a break from us, and didnt travel, please email your details to sales@xcitedestinations.co.uk and you will be fully refunded.0 -
it doesn't matter if your paypal was restricted, you can still view your transactionshelpful tips

As you know you have been promising me a refund of £825 for the last 4 weeks, you have told me on three occasions that the money was in the post and even gave me a false Royal Mail tracking number.. If you are going to add responses on this website, at least follow through with your actions!
Also, following your suspension from Ebay in April, I continued to email you on addresses that are still in existence, yet you refused to return my calls, emails or issue my £825 refund..I didn't even get a booking reference from you in the first place!!!
If you follow through with your Refund to me, my comments of your companies activity will change, but until such time - stop trying to pull the wool over everyones eyes!!!!0 -
suzq41. When and if you get your refund could I please ask you to add a note to this thread. And, good luck by the way.
I for one find it interesting that there still appears to be a difference between the stated intentions of the company and their actual actions. It sound slike you have supplied your details, which according to the 2 posts above is all they need to do a refund, yet you are still waiting.
This thread is obviously being picked up on Google searches so keeping it up to date would be useful. Also, if anyone else contacts xcite travel as a result of their posts above maybe they could also update the thread saying what happens.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. No problems - I don't hold much hope at this point, as he was given my details (again) 4 weeks ago, but keeps saying he needs to wait until pay day to give me half of my money, and then his next pay day to give me the other half (the excuses just keep chainging)!
At this rate he'll still be offering Refunds whilst in retirement!0 -
Soolin - Is there anyone of transferring/mirroring this thread onto the 'Rip Off' section of your website - I'm sure it would grab some more attention?0

You can also try contacting Prestige Rail www.prestigerail.com on 0844 870 4845, as they are connected and run by the same individuals, so at least you have another opportunity to actually try & speak with someone if they pick up the phone!0

If anyone has a contact at Ebay who is able to get together a complete list of their past customers (hundreds), I guess this would be an ideal place to start....Ebay User ID's 'xcitetravel' & shortbreakclearance'.
You can currently only view the customers who were unfortunate enough to have prematurely left feedback for 'xcitetravel' prior to finding out that they would not recevie a trip (approx 60 Users), however these people should be notified as a starting point, whilst Trading Standards continue their investigation.
There are still plenty of people who have probably not even found out they have be Conned and are still awaiting their tickets for a nice summer/autumn break!!
Good luck all, I will spread the word on the other forums and contact all the Ebayers I can!0
