You poor thing, it definately sounds like its your depression that is causing the main problem bearing in mind kids can fed off your emotions.
You have a 'black cloud' that decends over you in the morning, but help is out there and it will get easier, I think if you haven't already you need to see your doctor and get some medication just to help you feel better and get things in order.
Your doctor may be able to suggest some mother/toddler groups that you could join or coffee morning in the local library or something similiar.
You need to break the cycle that is depression as soon as really so please look to seek some help,
best wishes x

Sorry I took too long with my reply so questions already answered.
You may need to try different meds before they work, someone in my family has really bad depression and it took about 4 attempts to find a suitable drug that worked, they affect everyone differently, so if nessecary go back to the doctor and demand he trys something new (sometimes doc's need a kick up the wotsit) x0 -

If you live in a small hamlet then ask the health visitor about some toddler groups within that hamlet. I was in the same situation as you, I used to cry myself to sleep cause I knew I had been horrible and shouted at my son when he was simply being a toddler! Why not advertise in the local shop and run a coffee morning from home ... toddlers welcome and charge maybe £1-£2 for coffee or juice whilst they are there so you don't lose any money.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0

if someone is suffering from depression, the thought of inviting just one person in your house is almost impossible, let alone a load of strangers and their kids..... god, what a nightmare!
I think the online support groups sound ideal, if you're finding it hard to get out and socialise, because of all the bad stuff that goes along with depression. Even talking on here is hopefully lessening your burden OP, always easy to get loads of company in a virtual world plus a lot easier and more accessible than actually having to come face to face with real people, until you get stronger of course. good luck0 -

I was simply puting forward a suggestion! All people cope with depression in different ways! I know this as I suffered with postnatal depression and it was a simple coffee morning with a few people round that helped me. What may seem like a nightmare to you could be a blessing in disguise to someone else where she could make friends and have some much needed help. I have been in the situation where I have been on my own with no family friends and had a small child. If the idea is no good for the op then I apologise but just because it could be a nightmare for you does not mean it is the same for one other person!!!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
yeh, sorry about that, didn't mean to sound so abrupt. Indeed, what works for one, won't for another. Didn't mean to dis your suggestion.0

Hi Hunni,
Net mums have a meet a mum bored which is fab I have met lots of friends that way and we go to soft play and the like, nice to have somebody to do it with, not just on your own all the time.
Toddlers are a nightmare I have 2 myself, but they do grow out of it honest! Boys are always on the go, never stopping so they need to keep active, you need to get out as kids get sooo bored, blow the cob webs away I know not always easy. Have you tried swimming its great exercise for both you and LO and tires thm out really well! Both of you need to be out doing stuff exercise is great for depression I had postnatal more than once and am prone to depression anyway. The key is keeping busy BUT it does have to be one step at a time and be gentle with yourself it wont be easy. The summer is here tho, the best time to get out and about with loads to do for very little.
Chin up sweet you can beat this.Debt free and plan on staying that way!!!!0
