Hi Rusty, I've had a go myself and made 2 nappy cakes this year after seeing people post pics on here. I loved making them and think they are a fab gift as they look lovely and are full of really useful practical stuff. Yours are really beautiful, your friends will love them and I think there is definitely a market for them so good luck and I hope your craft shop starts taking orders for yours!!!

Yes they will all eventually be wrapped in cellophane with a ribbon to hold it all together, I just didn't get that far last night

OK if you were going to sell them... I'd invest in some wired ribbon and make those a little less rustic - personally I like rustic, but thinking about selling here... you might want to adjust that bit

It's pure astetic and others might not agree - but I know if I was buying one I'd want the bow to be straight - if someone had made it for me I'd love it because they'd put in the tme and effort and the bow would be the least of my worries
Does that make sense?
Still loving them!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

I know the bows are not straight ... but they are not completely finished yet. They still have to be put on a base board and also they have not been stuffed with hidden goodies
I don't even know what astetic means so I won't comment lol Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
