Eurgh.. my head
Well I had a really good day (missed your bit about what I was going to wear Karma - I had one of my favourite dresses on
) - suffering a bit for it today! Spent exactly what I'd budgeted, OH was lovely and took care of everything else, and even left me with some change so going to pop out in a bit to spend that on some food bits - I have lots of carbohydrates and veg so cheese and meat/ fish needed I think, plus some tinned tomatoes.. I really need hangover food! Was hoping to get for a run later today but I can't see that happening
Your trips sound amazing Pepe - the volcanos sound very exciting!
And Bob.. I feel sorry for Wiganners too :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

My husband is a Wiganner:rotfl: :rotfl: He saw the light and came to live in Durham with me:DBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
Now, I'm not sure how much I 'believe' these things, but after the other day's horoscope about free things, here's today's, hmm...
You may experience a sense of wanderlust and adventure.
Routines and daily chores will not appeal to you at all today, and no matter what is said you will not be able to settle to anything. Something is encouraging you to start living on the edge, and the realisation that life is a journey and not a destination seems to make brilliant sense.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

yup, with you on that one!
If you are not up for a run, how about a brisk walk - it does the same job but without the lungbusting propertiesSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Pepe, that sounds wonderful ....
Squirrel! You have a hangover??? So it was a lot of fun then?
I've been *through* Wigan a couple of times .... doesn't it have this hopeful looking shopping centre plonked in the middle of a really poor town?It tried to make a go of Wigan Pier? Loved the book.
Get that wanderlust going, squizz - take up Hypno's suggestion, off on a walk with you! :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I've just done exactly that Hypno
It's lovely outside - so did Tesco visit via the local park. Might pop out again in a bit and make the most of the sunshine. Or I might just open all the windows and lie on the sofa!
Yes it was fun Karma, had a good day out and a good night in
I had a really bad night out in Wigan once so maybe that's biased my view, I've never seen a town in such a mess in the early hours - knee deep in junk food! Actually, I have been to the Orwell pub on the pier too and that was OK. Love the book as well!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Wigan is like that at night plus the high street is quite open so the wind blows stuff down...
Is you all packed for your jet set bit?Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Packed?! :rotfl: I'm not that organised.. don't go till next Monday, and I'm not planning on taking very much anyway (need room in the suitcase for nice French wine ya know
) Just printing off all my tickets, hotel reservation, maps etc at the moment.
Ooh.. 3.5 days till pay day and £3.52 left on my budget!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Mmm... watched too many travel programmes yesterday - Long Way Down where they went through Italy, and then the lovely Stephen Fry. Must remember I have BMI miles to use at some point (signed up to their Diamond Club, and you also get extra ones through a survey site thing) - if I remember rightly they fly to Naples.. hmmmm....Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
