Oh yeah, i have heard of those. They have a shop in a place called Botany bay, near me..they often have sales on and you can try the specs on. You pay for the frames in the shop and send em off with your prescription to their factory in Manchester.

I like them by the way, v.trendy.

Oh yes, I know the place.. travelled past it quite often.. can you see it from the train, or is it just from the road... I can't remember?

Morning all.. ugh.. well, after one lot of plans for the weekend being cancelled and replacing them with something else, I ended up doing both! Got to bed about midnight last night so feeling a bit worse for wear... :o

Took £40 out of the bank on Friday and only had a couple of quid left this morning so I can conclude that's how much I spent this weekend, most of it on travelling about between places. Had great fun catching up with friends and being used as a human climbing frame by their kids on Saturday, then seeing some other friends on Sun. OH even managed to turn up and came back to mine for the evening, so we had a bit of a catch up and a chat about things, feel a bit more reassured although everything is still fairly chaotic...

Hmm, so my plan for today is just to stay awake!! Need to do a few bits and pieces for my holiday later, book bus to the airport and one of the hostels in Italy. Will have a look round jobs sites at lunchtime, and err, that's about it for today really!

Sounds like a plan to me - glad you had such a good time over the weekend - with lots more to come from the sound of it! Yay RS!

Yeah I do that at work when I'm sitting doing nothing :rotfl: Not had a weekend like that for a while and it was great - tiring but really what I needed.

Away the last week of July for a fortnight in assorted European countries (and quite a lot of time on trains)!

Sort of - although it actually worked out cheaper to buy the tickets individually than get a pass, so we are booked on specific trains rather than just wandering.. shame I couldn't pretend to be under 26 as it would have been much cheaper!
