Isn't it horrible when you can't find someone to go with to a class, cos you're quiet/shy in the first place? Thats me too. I'd go with you if you were in my town! Hope you manage to get there - and the job apps sound interesting too.

Right, that's it, I'm going to commandeer a city somewhere and move all the DFWs to it so we're all in the same place :rotfl:

Change of plan since last post, think Sunday may be off but going over to friends on Saturday - they're almost as broke as me so will probably be quiet night in with some cheap wine.. not seen them for a couple of months, or their kids who will no doubt have grown massively, learnt new words etc.. yay I get to play with playdough and feed babies :D

Hmm I like the idea of DFW City.. DFW-ville? DFWopolis? We could all have allotments where Bob could grow beans and turnips, and we can all share out our veg.. the streets would be full of pound shops, and only kind considerate banks, not a DCAs office in sight....

Done next job application, council system is annoying cos you can't save any of your information and have to type it all in again for each one  Another one to do but that's not due in till next week.

Our own city, where we can live out the website! I like it, I'd certainly move there...

Evening citizens of DFWopolis! Long boring day at work today but managed to tick off most of the list...
-pick up parcel from PO - done (lovely DHC facewash etc for my holidays, I love these people, they send lots of free samples biggrin.gif)
    - do other job application(s) - not 100% sure about one of these so need to have a good read through the description - done one that's due in tomorrow
    - pop into library on way home for leaflets etc (if I leave work early enough) - nope, took a detour to workmate's house for coffee instead
    - go for a run - yep, got soaked
    - change sheets on bed and tidy bedroom - yep

I also invented a new emotion today, called "how you feel when one of your OH's ex's relatives is taken seriously ill and he's helping out lots and you're proud of him but it also means you won't see him for yet another weekend" and involves lots of selfish stuff, guilt about being selfish, being upset for OH and cos this person is a nice bloke by all accounts, struggling with your lack of sympathy for someone who made your life hell for several months and generally not really knowing how you're supposed to feel ...

Is that the same as the one where you wander round your flat looking at stuff, picking it up and putting it down again and then replicate it wherever you go?? shops, offices, friends houses. A bit distracted and have no idea what you ahve picked up etc??

Hmm, I think it has the same air of confusion but more of an angry overtone ;)

How's things with you? Are you wandering around picking things up and putting them down again?

there is no right or wrong way of how to feel
its how we deal with the situations that arise that matter
i cant tell you how to deal with it as i think its out of your hands and you might just have to accept it- in the future you might find that these things dont occur as often
(erm i might have just told you how to deal with!)
obviously you dont have to take my advice but if it was actually the ex then maybe id get a little peed off
    just a little,only a teeny bit honest!xxxxxx

You're right of course, it is totally out of my hands, and I think he is doing the right thing.. I guess I'm disappointed at my own reaction to it.

Ah well.. I don't think I have a list for tomorrow, just get through work and buy some food!
