Thanks Pepe, I will leave right now (it just happens that the earliest we can go home on flexi-time is 4pm :) )!

Hello all :hello: Feeling a lot better today, still a bit delicate but ok. Just managed to have a free lunch of buffet leftovers from a meeting, bulked out with some bread I'd brought in.

Don't expect to spend any money for the rest of the day so £1 a day thing is going well so far, pleased as Wednesday is usually the point in the week when I lose my will power!

Hiya! Glad you're feeling better. Re my comment about sugar yesterday - sorry, it does refer to sugar, but also to carbohydrate (a little bit, anyway) - its about which food needs least effort to digest, thats all. But you *do* feel better, so obviously the crisps were fine! Glad to hear about the buffet leftovers too!

  • Hope you are feeling better today squizz.xx What i always crave when i am ill ( and the kids) is sparkly jelly. Make up with flat lemonade or coke, is yumm and has all the salts and sugars in it to help tummy.Don't use the diet ones though as sweeteners can make it worse. And HM lemonade is even better to use.

That does sound good - used to get flat coke quite often as a kid when I was ill!

Have a little spend to declare, the weather was awful when I left work so got the bus. Still that's 6 days down, two weeks till payday! :)

  • The bus is allowed when you are poorly..

Absolutely - I used to walk back from my local station of a Friday night, and I go into town now, and get the bus to the end of my road - moneysaving isn't worth it when your health and/or safety is involved.

PS - have now opened bottle of cava. Half a glass and I'm feeling it. I'm useless!
