I'm like that... I *need* time alone, tho I always have done, even as a kid, I'd be the one reading while all the rest were running around.

Yep, I suppose I've always been like that too. Although, being fickle, I've decided I am going to go on Friday now :o Main reason being that one of the girls has been off long term sick but is going to make it along on Friday for a little while so will be nice to see her. Not going to stay out late though, just go for the meal.

Cheque is written out for the Spanish classes to post in the morning - being slightly indecisive about what level to go for, but I will make my mind up and tick the appropriate box by tomorrow morning! This isn't coming out of my money left for the month as I negotiated something over the phone bill ;) Actually I've got a bit more available than it says in my sig, as I haven't included extra money that's come in (Quidco etc), but as I'm trying to keep as much aside as possible for next month I won't add that on and will try to live off my remaining £70-ish...

Thought for the day - pound shop umbrellas are a false economy

Cheque and form for the class are posted - excited (but also nervous)! It doesn't start for another few weeks, so I can do some swotting up ;)

Tired today - woke up at 4am feeling absolutely rubbish, hot and cold, sore throat, and now I've got a cold.. hmmph :(

Cold seems to be staying at a general mildly irritating level...

I've just sent off for info about a charity entry for the Edinburgh Marathon... eek!

Well, I went to work night out, spent £20 on dinner and a few drinks and was home by 9.30pm as I was knackered! It was ok, though would have been happier not spending a tenner on a meal that was just alright...

Anyway! Had a good lie in this morning, have done the basics of housework and a load of washing, changed the bedsheets, had a shower and now sitting around a few surveys. Meant to be meeting OH later to go out and watch the football :)

Tomorrow, think I need to do a cupboard/ freezer inventory and decide if I need anything - if I do I might make the trip to Aldi which is a 2-3 mile walk (tricky to get to by bus) - I could do with the exercise!

    Hope everyone's having a good weekend x

Fantastic plan with the exercise! Well done - next week, I'm going to do a few ballet exercises as a warmer, and use some of the dance lessons I taped off that new satellite channel I saw - I fancy the Indian dance one especially.

That walk will get the blood flowing as well. Speaking of which, got to get off the computer and get a life! See you later. x

  • The dance lessons off TV sound good - what channel is that?

Not long in from pub here.. successfully managed to spend nothing although there is now no beer in my fridge and the Polish vodka looks somewhat depleted. Had really good afternoon with OH, who has decided to take me away for the weekend in a couple of months time.. somewhere European..very exciting! :) Feeling little bit fed up as he's had to go home as getting up very early tomorrow, but very chuffed about the trip!

Not sure if the Aldi trip will happen tomorrow... am sure I can survive a few days on pasta/ tomatoes/ parmesan..... :o
